No sir. No spike was detected until the fire and smoke started. Tire alert temp is set at 140. At the peak of summer when the wheels are facing the sun they don’t get hotter than 115.
Hey there folks. Its been a long while since I've posted here. We've had our 27LX since 2014 and I must say its been a great RV. Ive done a ton of mods to it, and we've taken it for a few 3,000+ mile journeys. Everything has been great, until recently....
Bearing failure. Failure of a bearing...
Yea the Corvette show was a nice treat. My wife was able to make it and we had a little birthday cake in celebration of her mom's 66th birthday today! We got back to the camper just in time before the storm came through. I felt a little sad for all those car owners having to clear out early due...
You are correct on all counts. However it's not a whole lot heavier than air. It will tend to stay low as long as the wind stays low. When it's burned it produces Sulfer Dioxide which is much heavier than normal air. I would like to add that many people can get very sick at levels even less...
Great job on your mods! I've wished our freezer had a shelf before. Now I may try to make one like you did! The TV mod is a great idea and I like how you have it mounted on a swivel bracket. And I am so happy I got one of the vent covers like you did. My brothers 38' Rockwood Windjammer had both...

Live been very happy with our Lynx 27LX. Great camper for the money and I've been mostly pleased with the build quality. Check out my posts for pics of the upgrades I have done. Happy camping!

Hey guys, I'm looking to upgrade from the stinky slinky to a more robust or "permanent" looking sewer hose and stumbled onto Barker's Swing Free system. Looks to be easy to use and quick to setup. Anyone using one? Click the picture and it will get bigger.
