You need to be very careful if you decide to try and move your unit down the highway. If you need to apply the breaks hard, there is a good possibility that the spring could come apart causing your axle to spin out of alignment. Thus it could cause yo to loose control. I would try and find a...
Check outside on the side if your unit. You may have. GFI there that is daisy chained to the bathroom. My kind gas one on bathroom, kitchen and outside. Who knew
Yes the have extendable feet at the bottom. Each adjust independently to adjust for uneven ground.
They come pre- assembled but are very easy to install. They bolt into existing step spot. They are some dimensions that Torklift require and the steps are made to order for your unit.
Another trick you can try. At the rear tail light wire. Connect a piece of wire and run it up to the junction box at the front of your trailer unhook the tail light wire in the junction box from the pig tail wire coming from the truck. Take a meter and test to see if you have continuity in the...
Also make sure the connection in the junction box is connected properly. They use wire nuts to join the wires but you may have a loose connection in the wire nut.
Check the connections at the lights. The wiring runs back and it crimped at the light. Usually the wiring runs back on the right side and then across to the left light. It’s a start
I also have the Torklift Steps. They fold in under the unit and not inside like Mor-Ryde. Units get enough water intrusion just from use without putting wet steps inside in a rainy day. Torklift has the best warranty and customer support that I have dealt with in the RV industry. You can...
Just to advise you. MOST RV brands are owned by Thor. All brands have issues and all lack a subject known as Customer Support. Everything goes down hill once you buy and leave the lot. Good luck in your search.
You need to open the valve from the tank to the pump. Should be somewhere close to the pump. The winterize valve is a different line and not the same valve for the pump to draw out of the tank.
Trailer King tires are garbage. Even if they covered them under warranty . Just use them to build a swing for your kids. They are the worst tire on the market. Wouldn’t put them on a wheel barrow.
With the slide… what happened to cause it to almost fall out. Is your slide cable driven, hydraulic...
Does your water heater have 12 volt as well. If so,, I’m not trying to be a smart A but are you sure you replaced the 110 thermo and not the 12 volt. It seems strange it’s not working because it appears you have replaced everything,
Don’t hold your breath. CW are the worst RV company / supplier in the market. I dropped my memberships. They have a crappy attitude towards customers once they make the sale.
There parts stores are just as bad.
As an example of a product that will etch Fiberglass and destroy decals is …. Deep Woods Off. Do not spray it around your unit. If the over spray lands on your unit.. it’s too late
You need to be careful that it does not mark the fiberglass. Make sure you read the label. Some products have an ingredient that etches the fiberglass and will stain decals.
Clean the 2 tabs that stick out of the door that go against the casement when you open/ close the door. They get dirty and don’t make contact. I have cleaned mine a number of times. Use a small piece of sandpaper and clean tabs and plate that they butt against
Heartland as always in the past installed 2 . One inch side of the frame. Look at the same spot on the passenger side. Should be an overfill pipe there as well.
There should be 2 overfill spouts that are on each side of the tank. They are suppposed to protrude out on each side of unit around the frame. Usually behind the wheels
It looks like the rubber roof is splitting. Contact Dicor and tell them you have pics of the issue. It should have a 12 yr warranty on the product. They may offer you some money , maybe new roofing materiel, ( installed at your expense) or they may feel it is from lack of maintenance. You will...
Are you looking at a towable/ 5 th wheel. If so. It all depends on your tow vehicle. If you do not currently own a tow vehicle… do not buy under size vehicle … safety is your priority
Also when filling the tank keep the pressure relief valve closed. Your water heater must have a small amount of air at the top for expansion. If you open the pressure valve and allow air to escape your tank will fill to the top. When the water expands there is no room and it forces the pressure...
Sounds like the pipe you found is the overflow valve for the tank, also should be one on opposite side. The drain should have a valve on the end to prevent lose of water. Most likely not put through coroplast from factory . If you are able to unbolt the coroplast on the driver side. Small...
They look very slack. If your unit is still under warranty, have dealer adjust. If not under warranty I would contact a mobile repair company and have them complete the adjustment.
