Hmmm. Good thought. Now to figure out a continuous power supply while the coach is in storage (Or maybe a hotspot with it’s own battery?) Normally I take the RV batteries home to keep them warm & on a trickle charge. It’s never simple, is it?
The service provider (in my case) is AT&T. There are several options to chose from, e.g. AT&T, T-mobile, not sure about Verizon. I had to take the cameras to an AT&T store to get the correct simm cards installed & to have them added to my plan. Service definitely goes through AT&T as I can...
Does anyone have experience with the Reolink Go (uses cellular instead of wi-fi) security camera? See it here...https://m.reolink.com/product/reolink-go/.. Sure looks like a great way for monitoring the “happenings” around the coach while boondocking or while in storage. I purchased two of...
Ours just plugged into the wiring harness from the fridge. Unplug the old, plug in the new.
Then the factory just zip-ties it to the coils to hold it in place. That’s what Tony C. had me do when he was talking me through the repair on mine
Ever since our RW427 was new (May 2017) we have had a problem with the furnace not lighting anytime we were above approx. 5000-5500’ in elevation. Some of you may remember our Forum thread from last year. Many suggestions were offered & tried...even discussion about perhaps propane sold at...
We recently had the same problem with our Hisense in our RW 427. In resolving the problem a couple weeks ago I had some conversation with Tony Copeland, the national field service manager for Hisense. They have found that apparently the thermofuse (located in the upper portion of the fridge...
PROBLEM SOlVED!! It was simply operator error, & I’ll post what I was doing wrong only if everyone promises that the next time we meet up down the road or at a rally I don’t see a lot of guys pointing their finger at me and laughing. There are two main electrical disconnect switches, one in...
No. I tripped the GFCI by hitting the test button, & it would not reset. I think I read that the GFCI would not reset while the inverter is off. Sound correct?
The inverter problem was first noted when I tried to turn it on via the remote button in the coach. Then tried the power button on the end of the inverter. Battery cutoff switch was definitely on....but here’s info that might help diagnose....when i turned the battery cutoff switch off & back...
When this problem was first noticed it was after we had been sitting on shore power for 2 days cooling the fridge, dewinterizing, & “sweetening” the fresh water tank. We were getting ready to hit the road, going through the pre-departure list; when I hit the remote on the inverter to switch it...
After working (apparently) fine for a year on our 2018 RW (even with a Hisense residential fridge) our inverter has apparently gone on the fritz. In reading back through the forum posts I notice mention of a reset button (not the GFCI reset button) that fixed the problem for one member. I’m...
We have a 2018 RW 427 that we picked up last May. As Dan said, there is only thermostat that is connected to the furnace. It is the one in the bedroom by the head of the bed.....not the one in the hall just outside the bath, which in my mind is the more logical one since it’s centrally located...
69;565542]Do you happen to have a brand / model number for the locking gas caps?

Make sure the clerk gives you caps that are keyed alike.
We picked up our '18 427 in May. It is forward tank for genny (20 gal); rear tank for toys (30 gal). 50 gal of fuel very accessible to the midnight shoppers.....we put locking gas caps on ours.
We just returned from an 11,000 mi trip through Alaska. Have 16,000 miles on the coach since...
We also have a '18 427. I had the same problem with tanks not draining. Turned out to be "something" out of the black tank hung up far enough down the line towards the outlet that it wouldn't let the gray tank drain either. Your problem may be the same. Make sure it's not as simple as...
Morryde is sending new ones pro grata. They were great to deal with on the phone. They told me also it was "typically" from towing out of level, but I sent her a photo of our truck/coach riding less than 1" out of level.
I've just ordered the Morryde upgraded wet bolt/shackle set to do new...
We just returned from a trip CO to Alaska; maiden voyage for our 2018 RW 427. No toys yet, so garage had maybe 500lbs of bikes, tools, etc. Roads up north are rough; even though paved there are frequent patches of frost heave & bypasses around areas of road repair. Throughout the trip I was...
Yes, Iron Bear. It appears they're about the only trailer shop able to work on alignment of the big rigs. However, after a more thorough visual inspection of suspension components it appears the problem is more with the MORryde CRE/3000 system..see attached photos. Don't believe that's...
Well, I'll be.....Pilot212, we have a matching pair!! We also have the Sailun tires. We just returned to CO from a trip through Alaska with our 2018 Road Warrior 427, throughout which I was diligent about checking tire pressure, lug nut torque, & greasing the axle bearings via the EZ grease...
We'd also be interested in hearing a group purchase price. We're on the homeward leg of an 11,000 mi road trip from CO through Alaska. Many spots along the way where cell service was "close, but no cigar...".
Well, here seems to be the answer, at least from my experience.....
From the rally we went back to Steamboat Springs & picked up a full bottle of propane filled in Steamboat. We weren't able to use much propane in Goshen, so still had almost both bottles full of propane filled in Oklahoma &...
Sounds like a reasonable assumption. I'm surprised the Suburban tech didn't suggest looking at the fuel mix. I would think this isn't the first time the issue has come up.
Thanks, Dan. Looking at the chart....if the fill I got in OK had a butane ratio of, say 30% for purposes of discussion, when I was trying to light the furnace when the outside air temp was ~30deg there would have been a substantial drop in pressure. However, now that I think about it, that...
Bill, that is very interesting about the butane mix. I filled the propane bottles in OK just before leaving there for return to CO. I wonder....... I'll try to run out our tanks here at the rally & re-fill in Steamboat. Let's hope it's something as simple as that.
Thanks all for your insight, & for taking the time to respond. I think I mentioned in one of my first posts that when the furnace wouldn't light in Steamboat Springs it appeared to be going through all of the mentioned start up steps properly clear to the point of being able to smell propane...
Garry;
We're apparently not on your email list for this event. Please add Rosalie & me for dinner at the Lux. Unfortunately we won't be able to make Fri.
Thx much, & looking forward to meeting everyone.

My Heartland Service Rep has suggested I ask Heartland owners what experience they are having with their furnaces. Guess I have my answer to that.
I just turned the furnace on to make sure it's still working. It fired up fine, however as it runs I hear a high pitched whine or ringing while...
I would hope that on a rig & components that are less than 60 days old clogged lines/regulators would not be an issue..?? Also, when diagnosing the problem in Steamboat doing the "sniff" test at the furnace exhaust as the furnace was trying to start up I could smell propane coming out the...
I'll check for a loose wire, but it's interesting that the furnace fires fine here at the rally. I would think a loose wire would make the furnace not light at any elevation, no? What brand of furnace do you have?
Thanks much for the input. I just got off the phone with Robert Miller in HL service; he contacted Suburban yesterday & Suburban said they don't guarantee their furnaces to work at an elevation higher than 4200'........SAY WHAT??? Suburban suggested changing the orifice size every time we...
Hi, all;
We're having a problem with our 2018 RW 427 Suburban furnace. We picked the new coach up from the dealer in Ohio 5/02/17, spent two weeks in it in Ohio & OK with furnace working fine.The weather was rainy & cold, so we used the furnace constantly the first week, & intermittently the...
Jim;
Our main slide has apparently jumped a tooth on one side, is misaligned & does not close properly. I talked to Robert Williams in service & he suggested I see if it's an item that can be serviced by the crew coming out during the rally. Do you know if they'll be set up to handle items like...
For anyone out there wanting a little more (correction....a LOT more!) knowledge of how the systems on your coach work so you can take care of your own maintenance & a much of your own service work, if you haven't taken this class you're doing yourself a great dis-service. COOPER KNOWS RVS, &...
[QUOQUOTE=pjones1969;541699]Here you go
Thanks. I've been trying to figure out where that empty 10A fuse location is in my RW427. I purchased the Furrion Camera about 4 months ago and installed it, but no power to the camera. Before tying into the clearance lights, I wanted to first try...
