The RV industry is the only industry that gets away with this kind of crap. Although our two RV purchases have had no major issues, I see lots of others that have major problems. I can fix it myself, so I do. Saves a lot of unnecessary stress and heartache.
If you have the fuel station and you can see the fuel tank hanging down in front of the spare tire, you are good to go. The gen. gets its fuel from the same tank. You should also see two rubber fuel lines running from the gen compartment, running along the main frame I-beam to the rear fuel tank.
Mine is under the bed. Remove plywood under mattress on top of bed platform, (over top of generator compartment). 4" electrical box screwed to floor on right side of bed.
