Question for EVDOAlex

I'm using a Verison USB 760 air card. The signal comes and goes. I have connected it to a WIlson Trucker anntenna. I don't see any improvement is signal when connected to the antenna. in fact I see the bars drop down. I have the correct adapter. I did leave the plastic tube on the top of the antenna,( just saw that, would think that would make any difference.

The USB 760 does get hot at times.

Any Ideas?

could be a bad antenna then.
but don't judge using "bars", instead, use RSSI (http://j.mp/rssi)

Thanks, I'll give it a try.
I hope the antenna isn't bad, I've had it since the first of the year and just not got to use it.
