Nebraska to Alpine Texas

This summer I am going from central Nebraska to Alpine Texas and am planning on going south on 385 out of Dalhart. Has anyone traveled this road, how is diesel avalablility, any low clearance areas,etc..? Any info would be great!

I traveled portions of that road from Dalhart south , you should be fine just go super slow through the small towns, (5 mph lower that the posted speeds).

Ever seen PaloDuro Canyon?.... it's not too far out of your way. Wave as you pass me.
