  3. Water Heater Tip

For those who are having problems with their water heaters, here's one more thing to check. The electronics module on the back of the heater. It's stuck onto the insulation around the tank with an adhesive pad, which may or may not actually adhere. If it shakes loose, the plug can come out of...

  4. Preventive Maintenance (leaks)

I have read a lot of old and some new threads about people having issues and leaks in their coaches due to loose fittings in their plumbing system. I read in the construction manual for Heartland that they test all their coaches prior to sending them out of the factory. They test with both air...

  5. Cleaning Exterior

Does anyone know of a good way to remove the black marks that have accumulated on the outside of the unit over the winter. Is a bleach cleaner like clorox cleanup harmful. This is our first clear coat unit and we want to be careful.

  11. Routing of the Fresh Water Hose

While camping in 10 degree weather, my fresh water hose between the tank and the pump froze. After looking I think the fresh water hose is resting on the metal frame. Has anyone else had this problem? What is the best cure?

  13. Continuous Water Heater

Anybody heard the trend of place a continuous water heater in-line for the times when high volume water is needed? Dealer recomendation. It would have a seperate switch. The draw back is while it is on every bit of water is hot.

  18. Water heater bypass for Sundance 2998 RB

Being new I have done a search for this but seem to have missed it. The directions say to close the upper (red) valve and the lower (blue) valve and the leave the middle valve open.
