  1. Jensen AWM970 Radio/Audio System installed in the Edge M21 TT

One more dumb question. What's the deal with the cable set coming from rear of the audio system? Mine has 2 RCA female audio plugs and 1 RCA female video plug. My first thought was that they were an output for the dvd player (schematic shows some outputs), but apparently that's not true. When I...

  2. Generator Amperage Question for the smart folks

The two Honda eu2000i generators I just received start and run the 11k btu A/C in my M21 just fine, but I want to get all the mileage I can out of the generators. I understand that the TT's Converter uses a certain amount of amperage from the generator (mine says "12 A, 950 watts" so I'm not sure...

  3. Info for Air Conditioner hard start mods for easy starting with generator

Using the info from everyone on this forum and some others, I finally found an easy to understand (for me) article explaining every thing there is to know about air conditioner hard start boost capacitors. The article is "Mod #82 Air Conditioner Hard Start Capacitor" link] and can be found at...

  4. Generator for 2011 Edge M21 to run A/C

I have an Edge M21 with an 11k btu A/C unit. I just bought the Honda eu2000i pair of generators (total of 4kw) because the A/C documentation said to use a minimum of 2.5 kw generator. After reading through the forum I'm not sure this will work. I saw one comment about making the A/C unit...

  5. Edge Air Conditioner Leaks

I wonder if any other Edge owners are having problems with thier A/C unit leaking onto the floor of the camper. Ours is brand new, and, has been in the shop 3 times for this--no one seems to know what the answer is.:(

  6. Dometic Frig

While getting our Edge ready for vacation. I fired up the frig on 120v it wouldn't stay it defaulted to gas. I tried 12v and the same thing happened. When I was at the factory I was told how to reset the frig so it would run on 120 & 12 volt. The trailer wasn't level so I don't know if that was...

  7. 2010 Edge M21 A/C Model and Amperage

Our new 2010 Edge M21 has a Dometic Penguin A/C unit on the roof. Warrantee card states model number 640312.301. Dometic's web site doesn't list such a model. They show a Penguin 600312.xxx, which is an 11,000 btu unit drawing 9.5 Compressor Loaded Amps and 2.8 Fan Motor Loaded Amps. The Edge...

  8. Water Heater Thermostat

Hi I would like to turn the temperature of my propane water heater down. I looked in the manual for the water heater on my 2010 M13 but, using the diagram and schematics it contained, I could NOT find the thermostat. Anybody know the secret? Thanks!

  9. Edge Window Blinds

I love the windows and the window blinds on my new Edge. However, one window blind has become kinked and partly comes out of the edge runner when I extend it. Can anyone suggest how to 're-seat' the edge of the blind in the runner to fix it? Thanks!

  10. Running down the road with the propane on.

Should the fridge be using 12 volt from the truck when we're running down the road? Ours doesn't seem to work so we've left the gas on and left the refrigeator on "gas". We're wondering if that's a safe practice?

  11. No hot water

Does anyone know where the hot water tank access is on the Edge M22? I connected to the city water line, opened all of the faucets and let them run for a while, turn on the hot water switch in the bathroom. The pilot lights on the hot water but then goes out after a minute. Left the switch on...

  12. M22 Rooftop Heat

The rooftop unit in our M22 has a 'heat' position on the control. When in the heat position the air never warms up. Also, the unit pulls about 400W from my generator both in 'fan' and 'heat' position. Is the heat element not installed in the rooftop unit on M22s? Is it possible to acquire one...

  13. OK, stupid question time.

I am new to travel trailers so I am figuring out stuff with my new m18. There is a gas line with a quick connect under my trailer on the door side. What is this for? Connecting a gas BBQ?
