Same thing happened to us last year -- seems that this is a common problem. Our dealer shipped us out a replacement brass valve at no charge. Good luck!
Shelving Modifications
To maximize the use of space in our M18, we decided to put up an extra shelf in the cupboard above the sink, one just above the wheel well in the bottom cupboard, and another in the space above the wardrobe. (The shelves are 12" wide so there is still lots of room for our...
Looks like we got through our first winterization project okay -- but -- we could absolutely not figure out how to bypass the hot water heater, which meant that the first bottle of antifreeze went in that direction and we consequently needed to do a lot of draining and flushing this spring...
Thanks for the pics. We actually have two hoses: one that connects the propane tank to the camp stove and one that connects the propane outlet on the Edge to the camp stove. Connecting the camp stove direct to the propane tank works. Connecting to the trailer outlet doesn't. Not sure why.
What do you need to do to connect the outside propane outlet to propane appliances that are designed to use with the disposable containers? We had a hose made up that connects the trailer's propane outlet to our Coleman camp stove but couldn't get it to draw from the source. (Very strange that...
Check out the new Honda EU300i Handi!
By George I think I found it!! New this summer - Honda now has a 3000-watt inverter that's only 78 lbs! Perfect for those of us that are trying to keep things light. No electric start (which accounts for some of the weight) but our past experience with...
Wouldn't it be nice to have available a fitted sink cover to expand the counter space? (Matching the counter, of course.) The kitchen sink in the Edge seems to have the perfect indent around the perimeter for something to fit quite nicely - could even double as a cutting board on the flip side!
Hi. Check the Edge specifications for the M18 at: http://www.heartlandrvs.com/product.html?id=12&name=EDGE&type=Ultra+Lightweights§ion=specifications. Yup, the bed is 86" long (60" wide). :)
Hi Larry. Just spoke with our dealer and they're sending us a brass valve as a replacement -- the dealer said this has also happened to another Edge so I'm thinking it is a common problem. (Would've been nice if he thought to replace it 'before' we took it out.)
We have the M18 and the bed is...
Thanks Redfish! The front of our Edge is actually protected with 'Diamond Shield' - a 3M product that's basically a clear film that I think is applied with heat - I think the new Edges are coming from the factory now with this already on. Hopefully that'll keep most of the chips off so I don't...
Thanks for the suggestions! Definitely rethinking using a cover and judging by the comments, will probably not go with one at all (except for perhaps a tarp to protect the top from the birds).
I like the Bounce idea too!
We just bought a M18 as well and this is exactly the question I was just about to post! Thanks ... will wait by the sidelines to see what the final word is.
The RV Pro generator was recommended by an RV dealer but we're not convinced ... also found out that there is about a 25% return rate on...
