With the hot towel in place, try removing the filter by pushing (it should go in about 1/4 inch) then pull it out. Sent from my moto z4 using Tapatalk

I had the same problem a few months ago, the filter was frozen in place. Customer service suggested wrapping towel soaked in hot water around the filter at the attachment to melt the ice. It took about 15 minutes, but it worked. Sent from my moto z4 using Tapatalk
