I wasent trying to combine the two together. I didnt want to seem that I was dragging out the bumper issues out forever. I just wanted to know in general if a part breaks on your camper and it is out of warrenty did Heartland cover the cost to fix it. If they did cover the cost to fix it are...
Re: Getting mixed feelings about Heartland
Thanks for your responce with this matter.
Don I have stopped beating the dead horse. Heartland has clearly stated that they dont want to pay for the $45 bumper, fine I have moved on. Im not trying to get that matter taken care of. The bumper...
Getting mixed feelings about Heartland
I want to start off by saying this is not ment to be a "bash fest" for heartland just a fact finding mision.
Since I bought my camper 1 year and 3 months ago today I have had a lot of great trips in it. Along with the great trips have come with some...
We have the same issue, its just poor duct design. We leave the bathroom door open to get the heat out from there. Dont close the door to the bunkhouse if anyone is sleeping there. There is not enough gap under the dooor to get heat back there. If the bunkhouse gets to cold you may want to...
The problem is they dont use best form for anything, therefore they cannot force best form to take care of the problem. And heartland wont open thier big walltes and pay for a new bumper because it is out of warrenty. As long as they still are working with the company of the broke part they...
Thanks for your comments Mark.
I talked to Jim Fenner today and they said that they will not cover it out of warrenty. They tried to get Best Form to cover it but they will not. Since Heartland does not use Best Form plastics any more they dont have to much pull.
Thanks to everyone for...
Im gonna talk with my dealer, they do body work also and see how much they would charge to re-spray it or what they would do. There body shop guy was out all week fixing some weather dameged camper.
No Best Form Plastics wont replace it unless I wanted to pay for it. Thats when I went back to Heartland to see if maybe they would help out any, maybe put some pressure on thier supplier but no luck.
The company that makes the bumper, best form plastic, said they believe it is a problem with the adhesive they use. This has happened before. They company they get thier stuff from is running some test.
Thats what we were looking at it for also was to put a golf cart in. With the short bed TV a golf cart wont fit. I was looking at our 31QBS and thinking that if instead of the bunks made that into a garage.
I found an old flier with that 3010TDS in it and that is what I was thinking off.
