OK Let me get this straight. U have to have a good charged battery for your Emergency brakes and your regular towing brakes on the trailer to work? Thanks i`m confuses.... Biker Bob

Re: F-150 ChargingTT battery while towing My truck has Factory trailer tow package and Factory brake controller. I checked my Fuse/Relay box under the hood. Yes both my Relay and Fuse are there in right place. Does that mean my Battery is charging while i`m cruising down the highway? Thanks...

Pull the Fuse Switch on Radio or Battery. Only way to shut it off..
