Re: Speakers leaking
We replaced our speakers with Fusion waterproof boat speakers. We have had no problems with water coming in at all, even when I wash the rig.
We have a 3kva honda, which is on a pull out slide mounted in the front gooseneck locker. If we want to use it more than once we leave it pulled out on the slide. It is electric/pull and remote start. It is bolted on the slide out frame, so makes it pretty hard to pinch. Good choice getting a...
I have actually used oil based polyurethane on our slldeout surround with no worries at all, a repair I did when a chunk was taken out of it. If you really want to paint it, I would recommend to sand down with sandpaper or wire wool the surface so the paint adheres to it. Put a coat of smooth...
We fitted them when we fitted the 6 point leveling kit. they work very well in conjunction with the leveling kit, but yes you have to undu them first when lifting the legs.
I have considered getting a sign made to remind me to lift them, I have lifted them a few times without unduing them, not a...
I dread having a blowout. I check the pressures all the time, but obviously you can still have a blowout. It,s the damage it can cause, it would certainly ruin your day.
We fitted Steadyfast stabilizing bars when the 6 point level kit was fitted to our rig. They work well. The rig still moves around a bit, but they make a big difference.
We would not do without any of what we fitted, just great.
We have had 6 point leveling for two years now. What we do if the wheels do come off the ground, is put wood underneath the feet and then let the rig down slightly, so the weight is on that side. Then adjust the other side to make level. This has worked well for us with no problems. Hope this helps.
Re: Slam LAtch door not staying shut
We had a lock that came open. I adjusted the striker plate a bit and shaved a bit off as well. That worked well and has been secure since.

We fitted ours after we purchased, never do without them now. As regards to the wind we bought some Airwedges that fit in the gap nicely and stops the flapping.
Hi,
I was told you have to have a urethane based selant and wear disposible gloves when smoothing the sealant off, or use ice block sticks.
I use Simpsons 70-03 adhesive/selant, along with a Simpsons cleaner thinner before applying.
I have used this system for over a year and a half now with...
Hello all,
We installed a bumper that supports the bottom of the ladder, stopping it from bending as I stepped on it.
It works very well, but we too have had the end caps on one of the steps broken.
Cheers Paul
