I've got basically the same situation going on right now. Stepping up to the 235/85 that I'm currently looking at will up the weight bearing capacity by 884 pounds (Index jump from 123 to 125) for only $6.00 more on the total installed price. I can't image a 1'' diameter increase affecting the...

Success: The paddle bit worked beautifully. I didn't even have to step sizes; the 1'' bit worked well as a reamer. Made quite the mess, but that's what vacuum cleaners are for. As for the shutoff valves... I wrapped the threads with Teflon tape and tightened them until they bottomed out...

Even bigger problem: Delta piece is larger diameter than Dura piece. Excuse to buy a Dremel tool. - - - Updated - - - Oh scratch the Dremel, I just remembered I have this great Bosche paddle bit set!

Dadgum shutoff valves don't have o-rings. Fully tightened water still drips. Gonna try teflon tape on the threads.
