I read someplace on another forum that one reason manufacturers will have almost identical lines is so they can have multiple, but still different, dealers within the same geographical area, thereby increasing brand visibility, overall corporate sales and market share.

Biggest problem there is doubles are not allowed in many states. I like the idea of tandem 8k axles. I'd even like to see tandem duals option in place of standard triple singles for current models.

Maybe fill it with helium instead?

As both lines use 3 6000# axles giving 18k gvwr, it may be the case where the XLR uses lighter (arguably potentially "cheaper"?) materials, or possibly fewer amenities, in its construction. I have not seen either lines, as of yet, so keep in mind my comments are purely speculative.

Neither of which are selling points for me. In fact, dual entry baths are more of a deal breaker to me, reducing both shower size and storage. A king bed wastes floorspace in bedroom frequently requiring one to sidle into and out of bed, and makes me go farther across the bed to snuggle with DW.

Re: Well, it's time to ask about the 4200 again??? I heard that the replicator frequency interferes with wifi reception, and they're having difficulty finding adequate shielding that doesn't weigh a ton.
