Rig of late has been more in storage than on the road!
Gated community thought we were getting too good a deal on storage & electricity, Jan 2nd doubled the fees and you could only rent for 12 months, not month to month as in the past. So while we were "snow-birding, we did not pay for being...
Have Progressive on my car & TV, and 5th wheel.......Progressive just bought out ASI which has insured our home here in Florida for 18 years, got a better deal on it now that Progressive owns it.
Just put in a claim with Progressive in April for hail damage to our awning on our 2011...
I was trying to figure out how to download a picture of my Ruger and a Kydex IWB that I love......................been so long since I have downloaded I'm sure I have forgotten............let's see if this works.
This is a holster that I made from Kydex. I have a hybrid Alien leather/Kydex that...
It appears that the converter died a peaceful death.........made it to Ohio and got set up, thanks to being plugged into the RAM. Called my son for a battery charger and away we went. The charger kept us in lights for a couple of night and a new replacement is on its way from Amazon.
While...
Appreciate the input.....
When I get settled at the final destination in Ohio for 6 weeks and do my testing......are there consumer parts to replace or repair of the converter/inverter unit necessary.
I think I know where it is located, and how to get to it in my 2011 Greystone, but we'll be in...
On our way to Ohio to visit grandkids (7 & 9....going on 19) for a few weeks.
Last night in South Carolina and tonight in VA, playing cards etc. all of a sudden the lights get really bright, a while later back to "dull" if you will.
Looked at the control panel, batteries are not charges to the...
Insurance appraiser came today to look at the situation. I was just starting a new P-T job, so not here. Wife covered for me.
I have no argument with any of your replies, it is going on 7 years old, and this is Florida.....however, the appraiser went on the roof and said that it was aging and...
We have had this lock on our rig since almost day 1. We love the heck out of its convenience. (where the heck are my keys?????? said me never!)
Jim, I think I understand your motivation, as I may have triggered your idea.
You should be seeing the post I could not recreate up and running shortly. Your instructions worked fine. Don't know how I missed THAT button, but it worked. Thank you.
Getting our 2011 Greystone 32RL ready to head to Ohio to visit our grandchildren (& their parents) and have been working on de-winterizing after a rather hectic winter storage of said unit.
It survived hurricane Irma (September '18) as the eye passed over us (winds 128 MPH) seemingly without a...
We (my wife) has used this trick for years. We had a park model for 12 years in the woods of Western New York. Depending on the severity of the winter, they find their way in! The peppermint oil is awesome.
As added insurance, I built a "red neck" mousetrap to get as many as possible before...
"Voice over" caught my eye. I don't have a toy hauler so I'm worthless to you there....but I was thinking of getting into voice over, you must have some experience if you have work you can do on the road.
Would love to chat with you sometime on what it took to get into it. School I'm assuming...
I think that's where I screwed up....being in Florida for the summer (year around for that matter) I have the rig connected to 110 AC and run the A/C at 80*+, so the batteries are being charged all the time. Best I keep a closer eye on them in the future.
Hi Dave
Faith and I have worked before and would be happy to do it again if you need the help.
We're in Sebring (FL) so usually commute for the day.
It's a great experience.
Let us know, thanks.
