When making your reservations, don't forget to ask for the Good Sam discount. We didn't at the time we made our reservation and while they wouldn't give us the 10% discount after the fact, they did agree to give us a credit at the campground's store equal to the discount....

We've driven the 287, 684, 84, 90(Mass Pike), 495 route from NJ to MA many times (our kids live just off of 495) and on weekends, there are generally no issues. We also avoid route 95 at all costs. It's shorter but the stress and aggravation are worth...

That little fact is probably what's causing the problem since the times this has happened, the front of the coach was sitting on lower ground than the rear and the front jacks were almost fully extended.
