    Step lighting project.

Camping World sells a motion detector light (comes in a package of 2) designed to be mounted above the door lock on the outside. I used one on the door and the second one mounted on the wall at the steps. It does a great job detecting your presence, turns on the light and it goes back off after...

    Chevy HVAC problem

The "quick fix" did not work any more than about 24 hours - so same problem is back. I am off to the Chev service dept. in the AM. I will report back to the forum. $400 later and new actuator for the door about in the middle, under dash. At least the dash didn't have to come out. I'm sure I...

    Chevy HVAC problem

Thanks for your response. I also checked another forum and found this fix. First, start engine. Turn drivers side temp to 60, passenger side to 90. Turn engine off. Then start engine again, turn drivers side to 90 and passenger side to 60. Tun engine off. Restart engine and set both temps to 70...

    Chevy HVAC problem

I have a 2005 Chev 2500HD 4WD Diesel, LT with automatic dual controlled HVAC system. I have always had both sides set at 69 degrees and haven't changed it for probably 3 years - and it always worked fine in summer and winter. Now, it blows hot air on the drivers side while blowing cold air on...

    Washing windows

THANKS !!!! It worked just fine and I see how the clips work on the screens. Now to clean all the windows ! Funny, how a bit of knowledge makes the job so much easier.

    Leaf springs

Due to the problems the forum members have posted, I thought it was time to check mine out. Sure enough, The main (top) spring leaf of the left rear has a definite bend down. I contacted Lippert and Von asked me to send pictures and he would get back to me. He also said since I took delivery...

    Washing windows

I cannot reach behind the screens to wash the entire inside of the windows and haven't figured out how to do it. I am afraid to try to take the screens out as I may bend the frame. What's the "trick" - what am I missing here ??

Thanks to all of you for your help - just like the folks on this Forum !! I am going to replace the battery tomorrow AND the breaker. That should hold me for awhile :) Gary

    Slide stops when closing

Thanks Terry. I check into that. Are the larger breakers available from most RV dealers with a good parts inventory ?

    Slide stops when closing

When I run the slides in, the bedroom slide comes in fine, but the living room slides stop. I wait for just a second or two, try again and they come in some more, but stop again. I keep working the slide toggle switch and finally they come all the way in. Does anyone have any suggestions as what...

    Tires on Bighorn 2925RK

Fyermn, There are many good posts relating to tires. Do a search. Most go to either Michelin or Goodyears. Myself, I switched to Goodyears and enjoy the peace of mind ! See my tire size noted below. Good luck and enjoy your rig !

    Day/Night Shade Troubles

Thanks for the reply, Ray. That helps. I'm a bit confused on the string route. If I follow strings 1 and 2, they both come out on the same side . Is there a "special" tool /needle required to thread the string through the holes? Thanks, Gary
