Has this manufacturer built a trailer that mice can’t in?? Spent 2 years each on 2 different heartland ****** plugging holes in the frame to keep them out. Did I mention **********!
Admin Edit: No need to disparage the mfr in such a vile way on this venue.
That's the disaster waiting to happen Heartland throws into their so called "top of the line trailer"?? Glad my slides are hydraulic without all that crap to go wrong, good luck with the repair OP.
Re: 2015 Bighorn Replacing LED Lighting Kit????
$75 !!!! You do know you can order these from Amazon for like $20 & will last as long as the junk Heartland throws on there, probably longer. Wait until the cheap strip channel it goes into starts to twist up. Good quality junk lol
X2, & the cheap plastic channel the light is mounted in warps, along with the cheap chinese light starts dropping leds. Pretty much matches the rest of the cheap crap on the trailer.
If you have funds available as you say, do yourself & everyone that shares the road with you & buy the proper tow vehicle to haul a trailer that heavy on the pin, or down size to a trailer that that truck can haul safely. Somehow though, I think that is something you don't want to hear.

Check the corners of your slides when they are in, chances are you will be able to see a gap there. I had them get into mine last year thru the door side front side of slide. Once they are in they use your heat ducts to get into the basement. When the slides are out it is...
I've had no issues at all with mine, in fact waiting only a few seconds for the landing gear to deploy is awesome. You also need hydraulics for the 6 point leveling system.
Not 100% sure but I believe the slides open easiest, to hardest. That's why it is usually the bed slide that goes first then the next easiest one to open. You could install valves to dictate which slide you want to open by closing the valves to the slide you don't want to open.
Why waste the time to remove decals, & money to replace with more decals that will curl & blister again?? Remove the decals & get it painted at a body shop.
