Resolved. The light in question is the 'D/S Security' light and it is just burnt out.
My confusion stemmed from the operation of the porch lamp. It seemed that
turning the security sw on or off changed the way the light detection and motion sensor
of the porch switch worked.
Further testing...
Do you mean on the back of the lower kitchen counter directly across from the entrance door?
Any markings or text near the switch? I'm referring to outside light between the bedroom window and the front cap.
Does any other light come on with this one? Maybe it's a bad bulb.

The rollers are NOT in the trailer. Either they fell outside while the slide was moved out and just not noticed at the time. Or fell inside and discarded by the previous owner. I can feel the remnants of screws on the top of the bottom edge of the slide opening in two places so 2 rollers were...
Well I've just found the same problem on our 2011 Greystone 32RE. None of the head end rollers are in place. In fact I can't even find them so I don't know where they go , how they're mounted or even how many there are supposed to be.
