I tried the wifi backup camera from Rearview Safety with mixed results. The signal was a little weak with the slides out and there was no signal with the slides in. I bought a wifi extender that sits on the steps to the bedroom and now the signal is good to the tow vehicle. I do lose connection...

How long is the cable from the Tailgater to the UDC connection? There is a limit to how long the system will tolerate. The cabling through the trailer has to be included when you look at the connected length.
