What should the government do with plug-ins? They are "avoiding" the taxes, aren't they--so much a kilowatt? Love the maximum stupidity---no good deed goes unpunished, I guess.
Seems that there have been several threads where people have been complaining about sawdust, loose screws, debris, etc. regarding Hearland products. Know that BH puts out 13 units a day and if they had an employee who manned a shop vac and hit each unit as it moves through the various stations...
Have been in the Goshen/Elkhart area checking out a replacement 5W for our Montana. Happened into the Heartland Ralley at the Fairgrounds in Goshen as a bonus since BH is at the top of our list, mostly because of weight considerations and our TV.
Eric gave us a great tour of the Heartland...
With more research, discovered that it really isn't a 16 gal water heater, but one that produces the equivalent of 16 gals of hot water by mixing very, very hot water with cold water. Still a good idea if it works as advertised. What I had hope to see was a place where customers could have an...
Just saw our first Bighorns yesterday, too bad the dealer didn't have all the floorplans. Saw one which would do us and the sales brochure had another. Unfortunately the sales brochure isn't very complete regarding standard and optional features. Since we are about a yr. out from ordering some...
Thanks for the replies. Scott, think that we'll stop by the factory sometime after the Indy 500 is over. Most of our concerns would fall in the "deletion" category. Are just seriously starting to look, but Bighorn is in the top five.
We are still looking at a Bighorn as a replacement for our current 5W and are back doing some research. Assuming that you order a rig, what can you change, knowing that somethings are not possible, somethings would entail extra cost, somethings should generate a discount and somethings...
Kiko, maybe you could get some help on a couple of other forums. The major thing is to get the parts past the Mexican border and then they could be shipped anywhere in Mexico through DHL without worring about customs/postal service. I'd go to RV.net, there is a forum entitled "RVing in Mexico...
Think the two fantastic vent fans are a great way to move air. Helps cut down on A/C use for us. Another thing that we've done is to replace the noise making fan in the "boom-boom" room with a 120cm computer muffin fan. It is so quiet that we can leave it on all night for a little extra...
Well, the reason I am on this forum is because our Lippert frame failed on our 2004 Montana and I want a better replacement. I have cruised several other owners forums. Lippert provides frames to many manufacturers and their "frame flex" problem goes back to at least 2002. It is a much bigger...
Unfortunately, we have a Montana and it has been just a piece of junk. Took it to the factory for a multitude of repairs and a lot of them were poorly done. Gave up trying to get everything fixed under warranty. We now have new family saying, "Friends don't let friends buy a Montana."
