A few months ago we noticed our surburban hot water heater had a trickle of water inside the propane canister. I saw a small pinhole. I put a small screw in it and then put some JB weld over it as a temporary fix until we get back to the USA. Well, started leaking again.
The anode rod was...
Current switch is a 20amp switch. The fuse is 15amp.
Replaced the ends and stripped the wire back to better contact. See how that goes after a hour.
Duramax1 - I wouldnt be surprised. I had to replace the inverter a couple months ago. Now have a boondocker 75amp.
Thanks
Jason
Thanks!
I will go replace the crimps first and then likely retrace/replace the wire.
Bulbs.. I use the same size ones, they do blow a lot though. (replace about 2-3 a month)
Fuse.. I think the origional one is in there yet, will double check the size.
Thanks!
Hi,
Our switch has been getting hot for awhile now, so recently replaced the switch but the new switch wouldnt turn off tonight. I pulled the plug out and I burned my finger touching it. Had to get pliers to unplug them.
Heres a picture of the wiring behind the switch. The new switch must be...
We have a 2011 Sundance 3300ck, We have the 50amp plug in the back and when we are on the road, we have a yamaha gen in the back of the truck. I have to run my 50amp cable along side the camper, to the back of the truck and plugged into the 110v gen.
What I would like to do is have a plugin...
Thanks everyone.
Soon as this lovely freezing rain/snow/slush stops I will reset it and see what happens.. I think I should get a set of arms to prevent further headaches.
We just arrived in Kansas and when we set up, the RV seems extra shaky. We have the jacks extended only about 4" and have blocks under the front jacks as we always do, have the rear jacks blocked up as well so they are not over extended, the wheels have four chocks around them and we also have...
Hi,
Thanks for the replys.
The gen is only a small 120v one (Yamaha EF1000iS) that I would be using just for charging the batteries and maybe recharging laptop,etc..
The RV was not gen prepped.
I know the gen is small, but will serve what we need it for and I like the idea that it will run...
We are currently adding abother nine 50 amp sites (sites will be about 36 wide x 90ft long) with a great waterview staggered up the hill from where you were parked. Also a few of the sites on the end of the waterfront rows were widened by about 10-15ft. Just finished trenching for the...
Ended up picking up a small yamaha to recharge the batteries and power a few small 120v things.
Now.. with my last gen, I used to have to plug my 50A cable into the back of the RV, then run cabling to the front to my truck box where the gen was.. Such a pain..
Is there any way to hook up more...
Thanks
Went to pick up a hyundai 2000 inverter last week at walmart for around $6, but ended up being gone, hestiated too long I guess.. Leaving here in a few weeks and will need it a few times while boondocking as we make our way down to KS and TX again.
Our walmart has a hyundai hhd3500...
Used my 4k watt constructed genny a few times in the past, but looking at one to mount in the back of the truck and to used 1/2 dozen times a year. I can get a great deal on a generator that is not the "clean sine, clean wave inverter, etc, but just a standard generator.
Are they safe to use...
Thanks everyone.
I have a second battery I am wanting to install in the spring.. tempted to hook it up alongside the other now so it will stay charged good all winter lol
