ATF: Greystone - Problem Getting a Full Fresh Water Tank

I got it to fill after raising the nose of the rig about 6 inches above level. Some day I will re-route the gravity fill hose. Sent from my SM-G892A using Tapatalk

ATF: Greystone - Problem Getting a Full Fresh Water Tank

This is an old post but I've got the same problem on my 2012 Greystone 27RK. The 52 gal tank only takes 32 gal despite a slow fill, level coach, and unkinked vent hose. I verified by measuring what drains out the drain valve. The gravity fill hose is well below the top of the tank - Heartland...

Dometic 310 leaking between bowl and base

I did locate the seal, tore it down, cleaned it out (was disgusting - think fermented human waste), put it back together. It failed again a few months later so I bought a new one. No problems since.

Dometic 310 leaking between bowl and base

Domestic told me they fixed the design between the time of my original commode (in my 2012 trailer) and when I replaced it in 2015. If you pull it out and hear sloshing when shaken, it's the same problem. Test it over a large bucket. Nasty stuff. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G890A using Tapatalk

Dometic 310 leaking between bowl and base

I got a ball seal kit at Amazon too. It did nothing to solve my problem. Because the screws connecting the bowl to the base (you can only see them after removing the commode) were not tight, flushing the toilet caused waste water to seep past the bowl-to-base seal into the base. After it filled...

Dometic 310 leaking between bowl and base

My Dometic 310 (high profile) has been leaking between the bowl and the base. I tried everything Dometic recommends (fill bowl with hot water, replace ball seal, lube seal, etc) to no avail. The water was leaking down the outside of the base at the seam between the base and the bowl. I...

High Pointe EM925RSL-B makes crackling noise when not in use

I opened the unit and found the sound to be coming from the "beeper" (small speaker that beeps with button pushes, end of cook cycle, etc) on the front panel circuit board. Likely the beeper circuit is picking up interference from the high voltage capacitor. I doubt this is particularly...

High Pointe EM925RSL-B makes crackling noise when not in use

My microwave makes a "crackling" noise when it's plugged in and not in use. The noise goes away when I unplug it. Has anyone had this problem? I'm inclined to think it's probably a leaky capacitor or partially shorted transformer.

    Download Owner's Manual

It looks like Heartland fixed the broken link on their web site. The manual can now be downloaded.

    Download Owner's Manual

The Heartland RV web site has a link to the owner's manual (http://heartlandrvs.com/common/optdownload.php?file=2011_hl_owners_manual_3-18-2011.pdf) that opens a new window but the document never opens in my browser (IE9). The option to view the manual opens a very rudimentary html viewer that...

    LP Regulator Auto Changeover manual

The reason I was looking for a manual is the indicator is red with both tanks full and I was hoping a manual might shed light on the function of proper adjustment of the screw that is below the black screw-on cap.

    LP Regulator Auto Changeover manual

Does anyone have the manual for this Auto Changeover regulator (I hope the thumbnail shows up - my first time posting an attachment)? It says "TPA ACR-2" on it, but has been listed on the forum as Camco 59003" and is noted as discontinued. TPA looks to be a Taiwanese/Chinese company and they...

How to add bleach solution to fresh water tank

I spoke with Heartland customer service and was advised to use pool chlorine tablets. I found granular chlorine that will be much easier to use in the small amount necessary to sanitize the tank. I haven't calculated what's needed yet. For use to swim in, the chlorine package directions...

How to add bleach solution to fresh water tank

Oops - just re-read the manual and it only wants one gallon of solution per 15 gallon of capacity, so just over 3.5 gallons of solution or just under 1 cup of bleach.

How to add bleach solution to fresh water tank

Thanks for the replies. The only reason I mentioned gallons of solution is the manual suggests 1/4 cup per gallon of water and the fresh water tank holds 53 gallons according to the manual. That works out to just over 0.8 gal of bleach to get the recommended concentration. I'm hesitant to use...
