We found a place near the fairgrounds that isn't terrible. Galatti's. Not sure if it was there during your time there tho.
One of our favorites is Blue Lagoon Saloon. No pizza but great bar food.

One thing I didn't mention, but goes without saying. We made many many...
Hey there old Heartland Friends. I can't believe it's been over a year since my last visit to the forum. A lot has changed in our lives but I'll never regret our decisions. Since we've sold the Bighorn, we've bought a mobile home in Sebring, FL and had a great time this past winter. We were even...
Farmer, Title weights, if noted, are usually Gross Weight. Published weights in Manufacturers literature are fairly close but a lot depends on added options. All RV's have a yellow sticker on the outer left front of the coach that tells carrying capacity. From this, you can calculate the empty...
Dan, I remembered a post of yours from the past. I removed all the hoses and blew compressed air through them and everything seemed OK. No oil either. Maybe I'll try replacing the pigtail on the door side and see if that might be the culprit.
I've wondered what the reason was for this regulator and this makes sense to me.
Our current problem makes me wonder if this regulator is starting to fail.
We have a device that alerts us to an empty LP Tank. It's a switch that sits on top of the main regulator. This switch is triggered by the...
Hey there fellow Heartland Forum Members. After giving it some serious thought, I've decided to step away from being a Forum Moderator. Those of you who have been here a while may have noticed a lack of activity from me for the last month or so. There is no specific reason, I just felt it was...
Lin & I have decided to stop traveling and will be leaving the Bighorn in FL during the summer. That said, the dually is up for sale. Here is a LINK to the Craigslist posting. The truck is in great shape and has been well maintained. Recent batteries and 2 new tires in front. Injectors replaced...
Florida! We spent 4 years in TX and while we really enjoyed the area and friendly locals we decided to try FL. Florida seems so much greener and scenic. We stay just north of Tampa along the Gulf in Port Richey. Once the awning is extended, it stays out all winter. Plenty to do including great...
I agree with kakampers, a smaller high end coach would be a big hit. Not that I'm shopping but if it didn't have a dedicated desk area, I wouldn't consider it. I'm so used to the desk in our BH, I couldn't manage without it.
Re: Plastic Bow??
We used the door hinge repair as well. Pop rivet the hinge to the end of the plastic and used self drillers to attach the hinge to the frame. Stronger than OEM.
When we ordered our BH we opted to not get the central vac option. We had just bought a Dyson DC14. It was heavy but shucks, we just spent $500! It started making wierd noises after a few years and we didn't want to spend a lot of money so we bought a little Hoover Nano cyclonic at WallyWorld...
We workkamped at Shadow Hills Resort in Indio back in 2009. It's a pretty nice place with a very nice pool and hot tub area. I think the owners are currently managing the resort. The only thing at the time that was not the greatest was the cracking concrete on many sites. I don't know how many...
It's definitely a warrantied item but sometimes it's just easier and a lot less time consuming to take matters into your own hands. There are many things I do that at least I know it's been done right.
