So this is what most of my bushings looked like after 45,000 KM. Some rough roads too including the Dempster. I actually think they did reasonably well considering it’s a piece of nylon. I have the wet bolts all installed now with bronze bushings. We will see how they perform compared to the nylon.
Thanks. I was thinking the same about the air equalizer. I watched some videos and the setup actually looks a little mushy. I’m gonna keep it simple and put wet bolts in, keep the same EZ-Flex equalizer.
Well, I grabbed a set of Dexter wetbolts, bronze bushings and heavy shackles. I guess we will see what happens. I’m usually under my trailer every stop having a look.
anyone use the Center Point bags or Morryde CRE4000 equalizers? Wondering if they are worth the swap. I currently have the...
I have 45,000 KM on my trailer and I am going to replace the suspension bushings. What do you all recommend? The factory bushings lasted this long do I just go with them again or do I go wet bolts (do they break as often as I am reading), Never Fail? Anyone use Center Point air bags?
Im not...
I would still be able to get 4 bolts on each side. The only difference would be I wouldn’t be using the top hole at the front of the pinbox. That bolt would be in the second hole down.
I have an auto slide so it doesn’t have any adjustment. Do the bolts have to be in the very top holes on the pinbox? I have room to get the pinbox up one more hole but I wouldn’t be able to use the top hole on the pinbox.
Do I have enough room to adjust my pinbox up (lower the nose)? The dealer said it was too hard to move it up any more so they left it but we are still very nose high. Does the bolt have to be at the very top hole on the pinbox or can I raise the pinbox and use a lower hole (second hole down)?
Thanks everyone. So many decisions! I'm contemplating just buying a couple 100ah lithium batteries now and just hold off on the inverter until the wallet recovers a bit.
I have watched your video Oregon. Several times actually. I just can't afford that setup at this point in my life but...
I am getting a couple 220 amp 6volt batteries. They have 4 in stock. Is it worth it to grab all 4 and run them? I both boondock and camp in full services. When we boom dock I have to run my generator twice a day. I would like to get a couple days. Current batteries are 2 - 80 amp 12 volt...
I have watched your video a few times. I may reconsider my Matrix.
Until I have further questions :)
Thank you
Other than the TS in the IC2000, I did not install separate TS. I do not have an on-board generators, so there is no need for 3rd TS. I also decided against any sub-panels...
Thanks!!! What I may do is run a sub panel for the fridge alone and the factory inverter. Then I can use the Matrix to run other plugs for me.
I am working toward a battery bank of lithiums - but I am also realistic in that they are still very cost prohibitive. Work in progress.
EDIT - and...
