built-in black tank flush system question

When you see the clear water coming out of the hose when you are dumping, you are very glad you purchased a Heartland product. It requires an extra step, hooking up the fresh water flush, but it confirms that the tank has been purged. Enjoy the experience (if that is possible)!

Smart card The smart card in the receiver will only work with that receiver. They are married to one another is what the person at dish network told me. I added a new (e bay receiver/smart card) on to our house account for an additional $5 a month and put it permanently in our BH. All the...

    Where to go???

Congratulations on the new rig. Just my suggestion, but I would go somewhere close to home on the first several trips. The closer the better. We had to go back and pick up stuff we forgot to take. State parks offer everything we like such as water, electric, sewer, some with pull thru's...

Suburban Water Heater Door. What color?

Could you advise if you painted the vent while attached to unit or if you took it off to paint. I know that it would be easier to paint while on the trailer but it would probably do a better job if taken off. Just wondering how hard it is to get it waterproofed again. Thanks

Suburban Water Heater Door. What color?

I have a new "Colonial white" outside stove vent that is brand new from a RV wholesale site and it is a cream color(not what we needed). I would think that the "polar white" would be more of a bright white. I have to order another one, "white" this time. Hope this helps.

Won't be using the tires for awhile

Wow, I'm impressed with all these great tips and I'm in SE Texas. There is a great wealth of info on this site. I learn more here than I could of imagined when we became members back in 06. We all wish you well. It sounds like you are up on most of us as far as what you need to do. Good luck!

    Portable Waste Water Tank (Storage)

Me again. I've decided to build a cage for the waste water portable tank out of 4 inch welded wire fencing material as the weight is not very great, and secure it under the unit near the front basement compartment. Any ideas as far as securing the cage to the underbelly? Plumbers tape is one...

    Valve handles

I had a problem several years ago when one of the grey water valves would not close. The dealer ask me to bring it in and the mechanic told me that the valve works like the old engine idle/speed cable on the older push type lawnmowers. The cable has to slide in a sleeve that should be attached...

    Portable Waste Water Tank (Storage)

Ref Storage of waste water tank My mistake. Yes while empty. My mind doesn't see what I post sometimes. My fingers go several MPH slower than my thoughts. I have learned so much by going to this site, a real wealth of information out here. I'm sure there is a workable solution to mount...

    Portable Waste Water Tank (Storage)

I'm trying to find a solution for transporting my 35 gal portable waste water tank other than the back of the pickup bed. Has anyone mounted one of these things to the underside of the unit? I'm thinking about using plumbers tape and securing it near the spare tire. I'm sure there is a...
