Well it's a dead motor!!! When the hole was drilled under the bed to run the wire into the sub basement, they drilled it inline with part of the bed frame. Every time the slide was bought in the bed frame was dragging on the wiring running to the slide motor slowly peeling off the outer cover...

Thanks Dan, I have the flexible link, just have to find it. Going to test the motor tomorrow if I can get to it. Not much room to work with it closed and getting to the motor, but we'll get it open!!

Does anyone know what fuse link/breaker runs the hyd pump?? We have one tripping while bringing in a slide out or landing gear, it resets, but would like to replace it. Don't see one near the pump.

All of a sudden the fresh tank doesn't like taking water, vent doesn't appear to be plugged. Even stuffed a hose down the filler, worked for a minute. Units a year old and this has never been an issue.

Truknutt, Thanks for the heads up on the "Hula Skirt". I now have a local welding shop preping a 6ft piece of angle iron ( sand blasting & painting ) to mount it on the frame in the rear of the camper. Have to wait for the snow to melt for installation to take place. Kiddruger

Would like to add the same holder that came installed on the drivers side of our Grand Canyon on the pass. side. The question is how can we get one from Heartland with the same mounting hardware. I know that I could make my own, but would rather have it match up. Thanks for your help.

Looking at installing toward the rear of the unit, don't get much coming from the tires. It all the dust that rolls up and settles on the back window/rear of the camper. I have a pinch point in my driveway so I can't mount anything solid, thinking of a spring loaded system.

Has anyone installed any type of system on the rear of their camper that would help keep the dirt road dust off?? Looking at a class a system from Camping World, but it's only 6" deep. Hoping to come up with someting before spring and will post pic's if I do.:rolleyes:

Dave, Don't know if I found the problem, they cut the wire( RJ11 ) so short it might've pulled some of the wires off the back board of the t-stst. All the wires are pulled off now and don't know if they can be soldered back on, don't look good. Just talked to a local rv dealer and they will do...

Doug, Nothing on the outside of the slide. They put the standard small wire plugged into the back which can't pick up nothing. Still wishing they would just put in those cheap car radio that ran off dc instead of these 3 in 1 units. Tim
