The right jack for the rv

You can use a hack saw to get it off but I used a power cut off saw and my power sander to get it flat. You can run the good tire up on a board to get the jack under or lower the landing gear a little. With the rv on the truck I can still get it under. I did jack it up with that jack to lub the...

Correct Way to drop front legs

Randy try lowering the landing jacks down about 8 or 10 inches then pull the pins to drop the legs. I look at how the rig is sitting first. If it is low in front then I just drop the legs with out lowering the legs at all. It is just a guess as to how far you need to lower the legs if the unit...

    Water in the hold

I also had a leak in my shower. I finally found that the water was entering the top of the fixture and leaking into the underside of the RV. The water was going down the fixture into the hole the flex tube came out. There is no way the seal that was in there ever worked or would ever work so out...

    Wall Thickness

Bedroom shelf I put a small shelf above the bed in my bighorn and didn’t have to use any screws in the wall. I used an oak board about 20 inches long and 71/2 wide. I put poly on it then added a flat plate about 10 inches long, 6 inches wide and 1/8 thick on the back edge of the board. I had to...

stains in the kitchen sink, any ideas?

We have had a stain in the kitchen sink to after about a months use and I cleaned it good and put a coat fo 3M boat wax that I got from walmart on it and it lasts about 4 months. I guess the wax seals the sink so the stain don't stick so fast. I wish they would have put a ss sink in.
