    Cable TV Issue

HeY all, I’m looking for ideas on this problem because I am pretty much out of ideas. Recently we have been unable to get signals to our TVs both connected to cable or through the antenna. Before our next trip I decided to dig into the problem starting with the cable lines through the...

    Propane Alarm Short Circuit?

2008 Bighorn, just prepping for a trip and while replacing light bulbs in the LR wall lamps found the 15A fuse was blown. Further found my propane alarm was activating by turning the lamp switches of and on, or even removing the light bulbs. This is all while the fuse is blown. Replace the fuse...

    Brake Madness

Van, I am having a similar problem but it was only noticed when I had my suspension replaced, before that my braking was fine. The confusing part for me is the 3V drop from the truck plug to the J-box but only 1.0V from the box to the brakes.

    Voltage Drop to Brakes

Yes it does, and all my tests have been with the controller full on. I think I'm going to run some jumpers from the truck receptical to the j-box and see what I get at the brakes before I replace the plug.

    Voltage Drop to Brakes

Been a long time since I've been on, obviously working too much. This is issue goes all the way back to last August when we were going to one of my wife's art functions in Montana. On the way we found our suspension was trashed. Long story short we had to replace both axels and springs which...

Underside Skin of Pin Area Deformed

Thanks for the comments, in any case the news is not good. I wonder if I get hold of customer service if they can tell me if I have the frame without gussets, I certainly would like to get that repaired if needed.

Underside Skin of Pin Area Deformed

On my Boghorn the skin on the underside front surrounding the pin box is sagging in the middle and wrinkling along the edges where it joins the side walls. There are now gaps up to 1/2" along the edge seems. Is anyone experiencing the same thing? Not sure how this is attached to the frame...

    Hot Water Odor

I am told by DW that our hot water stinks (fortunately I can't smell anything). I drained the hot water heater and it seems to have improved. I did notice quite a lot of sediment in the bottom of the heater tank, anybody have an idea how to flush this sediment? I'm wondering if this...

    Bighorn vs Montana

I originally owned a Montana and was fairly happy with it. Issues however was the frame was rusting after only a few months after purchase, which is surprising living in the arid San Joaquin Valley. Keystone was not willing to do anything about it. I did not like the basement storage compared...

    Zapping Light Bulbs

I'm having an issue with the light bulb at the office desk burning out at least every few weeks. Have not taken the time yet to put a volt meter on it.......anybody experienced this problem? Could it be an issue with the power supply not regulating the voltage? Only one light is having the...

    Best Verizon 3G Modem

Surprised to see this thread still here......We bought the Verizon USB 760 back in Jan and it works great. During our trip from CA to WA my DW surfed all the way while I drove. Checking my ATT IPhone connection against her Verizon 3G connection there was no comparison, Verizon all the way. We...

    Heartland Desert

We have found it curious that since we have been fulltiming in Yakima, WA we have not sigted one Heartland product, well maybe one on the highway. We have been at Suntides RV Park in Yakima since Jan 15 and there has not been one other Heartland trailer, in fact we don't see many in WA, what's...

    Towing with Dodge Mega Cab

I have been towing a Bighorn with the short box Dodge for three years, two with the Mega Cab and one with the Crew Cab (both 6' beds). I use a B&W hitch which is not a slider and have had no problems. Obviously you need to be careful when cutting in on a tight turn but I have never found it to...

    Best Verizon 3G Modem

Very impressed with the Verizon 3G service....DW was connected while driving through some fairly remote areas of N. CA and OR along I-5. Only dropped connection once just south of Eugene. Looking at my Iphone I had no 3G signal through most of the remote areas while the Verizon 3G had a strong...

    Best Verizon 3G Modem

Thanks for the comments.... Alex, is there any advantage to have modems that support Global Access? Unfortunately all that do support global at Verizon are not Mac compatible. If we were only using this in the BH I would strongly consider the MIFI, but since we want to put it in our house I...

    Best Verizon 3G Modem

    North from Calif to Washington

We are finally preparing to make our move from California to Washington. Final destination is to be Yakima, but with the cold weather I'm considering parking DW in the Seattle area until end of Feb so we don't have to deal with freezing pipes. There's also going to be a couple of week we'll be...

    Fireplace Electrical Problem

Help! We are Frozen no water

    Air Bed Repair

Just in time for the holidays and company our air bed has sprung a leak...Looks to be on one of the thermal seams so patching may not do the trick. I hate to admit it but the patch kit is a bit confusing. There are two round pieces, one matches the top velour surface the other is black vinyl...

    A question about cabinet construction???

I'm not having problems with the door joints, but recently the entire door frame came off the cabinet above the commode, to my daughter's surprise. The frame was attached to the cabinet interior with ten staples and no glue. It was an easy fix, just ran a bead of wood glue and the staples...

    Landing Gear Dual Conversion
