When bought our first trailer we were taught to run bleach through the entire system. My brother and father inlaw also do the same thing, they both swear by it. I've never had an issue running bleach through the entire system and neither have they. Granted my first year I forgot to blow out the...
Re: water pump not pulling water from fresh water tank
Holy mackerel that was it. Since the cap to the water strainer/filter was cracked and letting a lot of air into the line before the pump. I got a new one from shurflow and now everything works. Thank you everyone who helped. I appreciate it.
Re: water pump not pulling water from fresh water tank
I watched a video this morning regarding the water strainer/filter that is between the fresh water tank and the pump. They said to inspect it and clean it out. I thought that it was worth a shot. I pulled it out tonight and discovered that...
Re: water pump not pulling water from fresh water tank
I turned the pump on again today. I have air pressure coming out of the faucet with spits of water. I tried the bucket on the other draw valve. I can not get water to be drawn out of the bucket. I did close the other valve when I tried. I...
Re: water pump not pulling water from fresh water tank
I wish my pump was under my seat. Mine is located under the bottom drawer in cabinets. It's a very tight spot. I'll give the priming a shot. I did put some water in the tube. Everything bubbles but no constant flow.
It's been 2 years since we've been able to use the trailer it's a north trail 22fbs. The water pump runs. I can hear air coming out of the faucets, however there is no water being pulled from the full fresh water tank. What am I missing?
After a couple of deaths in the family and having our truck stolen, we're finally back. Its been 2 long years. We picked up a new to us truck. We get to go on our first camping trip in a couple of weeks. It feels good. It's a short trip but enough to work the bugs out. We can't wait.
We got our XL zero gravity chairs from Cabelas. We love ours. We tried so many of the other folding chairs. Nothing compares to the XL Faulkner zero gravity recliners. True they don't fold like the others. However, they ride great between the bed and walls.
Why don't you leave it as is and take it to a scale and weigh your rig and TV together? It cost me 10 bucks to weigh ours. We were pleasantly surprised at the weight of our rig and TV. They both were way under what we thought and what we were told. So before you believe what everyone says go...
I have never had an issue towing our TT. The TT's also can give you just as much room as a 5th for a cheaper price. I like how we can tow our TT to and back into any spot we want. You do have to have the correct connections for either the TT or the 5th. If you choose the wrong connections to tow...
Our North Trail. We camp all year all season every season. But i got transferred so now I live in it. l probably will till Septemper. Then we`ll move in to a house up here. Then we get to go camping for real.
I just had to fix a small water leak behind the toilet. It has been leaking for quite a while. I even told the dealer about seeing the water. The dealer found and repaired other leaks. I did find a lot of debris which I had to clean up. I found a whole lot more that I have to clean up too. I...
Absolutely love the quality of the Heartland products. Last year I got transferred and have been full timing in our North Trail travel trailer. We did some prep work before I went. I did inquiry from the Heartland forum exactly what I would need. I was told exactly what to expect and what I...
We hung our towel bar up on the interior wall with wall hog screws. They hold 50 to 100 lbs each. We have never had an issue with it at all. We put up one the same way that has 4 little towel hooks. the towel bar with the 4 towel hooks works great too. No issues at all so far.
I turned off the gas and left till Sunday. I will switch tanks and have the other one filled. I hope that it works. If not I will have to find out whats going on. Thank you for the responses.
There is no chance of us going east of the Mississippi. We cant retire for another 15 years. We'll have to wait for another 11 or 12 years before they make it back over the Mississippi. We couldn't make it to last years because of our TV. Now we'll just have to wait.
Because I was transferred. I live in my NT 22fbs year round. the furnace hasn't ran since this morning at 5:30 am. I used the stove top earlier 6:15 pm. Why am I smelling gas (propane) from the furnace? What should I look for or what should I do to stop the smell or the gas from flowing? What...
I agree go there and have them do a complete walk through with you. My service center dropped my whole underbelly to fix the tank leaks. They dried out the whole underbelly. I had some other work done while the underbelly was removed. much cheaper when they did they warranty work too.
The 72x80 should work fine. Unless you really need the cal-king. If you do then you would have to put in a longer piece of plywood. You just have to make sure that the extra size is doable in your bedroom. Make sure that you measure with the slides in if yours has tne bedroom slide.
Our chair comes apart. So you shouldn't have to many issues getting it in the door. They do have a lot of sizes to choose from so shouldn't have a problem on size.
Sounds like a good trip with a little layover. I love the snow and being in our trailer while it snows. Stay safe and warm. The Av's gave you some good entertainment tonight.
Safe travels when you start back.
