I have access to a brand new Heartland drivers side fender skirt which fits a 2005 Landmark but I presume will fit other models as well. It is in Kamloops, BC, not that far from the North Pole and we have pony express goes through regularly if it has to be shipped. If anyone is interested please...
It took about 5 or 6 days total as the work was spaced out over time----there was usually 3 or 4 fellas working on it at a time. I have pictures on the laptop and will post them later. This Landmark had been previously painted along the bottom 2 feet all around and the front under the 5th wheel...
I have a 2005 Landmark that the decals were coming off. I fixed them permanently. When we were in Lo de Marcos, Mexico last winter I had all the decals removed including all the "Landmark" lettering and had them painted on---plus I added an extra decal the length of the trailer----then it was...
Re: Landmark - trailair air bag too small???
Hi Jim
did all the numbers---found out that the pin weight of the 5th empty is 4168 lbs ---the pin weight of the 5th loaded was 5317 lbs.
the 5th wheel empty is 15345 lbs----the loaded weight was 17017---lesson learned ---don't take so much STUFF...
Thanks for the reply----I am currently in Corpus Christi, Texas on the way back to BC, Canada---if I get a chance I'll look for a weigh scale and see what my weights are
Thanks again
I have an '05 Landmark with a trailair air bag---it has a 5500 watt generator in the front and I recently added a washed /dryer combo---since then I have had to put about 100 lbs of air in the bag to keep it the right height
it is a 21,000 lbs hitch and I think the trailer weight would be around...
There are a lot of waxes out there, all maintain they are the best.
Does anyone have a recommendation on a good wax. I have read about Rejex and it sounds good and may be best for the front cap to stop bugs from sticking. Anyway does anyone have a good wax to recommend?
Thanks
(forget about this...
I have a 2005 Landmark with a suburban furnace with the Dometic p/n ir0101 remote thermostat.
Can anyone please point me to a link for the user guide for this thermostat---there's a few details that I'm not sure of and would like to read the manual.
Thanks very much
Garry
thanks for this---so am I putting the sticky side of the decal towards the trailer or the white thin papery side of the decal towards the trailer and then squeegee it so all the air is out and the decal sticks and then lifting the heavier paper backing off the decal?
The sticky side of the...
I'm sure there must be a post somewhere about this but I can't find the specific answer as to how to replace the decals.
I have a 2005 Landmark with a couple of the decals already removed and new ones ready to go on--- the sticky side of the new decal has the colour on it but the other side has...
Re: ATF: Landmark - Wrong VIN, Wrong Responce from Heartland
This Landmark only had 2 owners---the first one in Texas and then sold to a fella in Utah. The VIN on the decals was wrong when it left the factory---yes the 9th number was wrong---and the VIN on the certificate of title was different...
I have an '05 Landmark and notice that it has a back up light on either side---but can't figure out how to activate them. I have the regular 7 pin connector but am wondering if I need another connection there wired to the truck backup lights? Anyone come across this issue? or is there another...
Re: ATF: Landmark - Wrong VIN, Wrong Responce from Heartland
Hello All
I got this VIN problem straightened out. Someone at Thor Ind. saw this post and acted on it right away. There were actually two problems---the VIN on the labels was wrong and the VIN on the titling documents was wrong as...
I am the new proud owner of a 2005 Landmark that I purchased in Utah from a private sale. I did all the paperwork at the border and thought all was good---just one more step to register the 5th wheel with the Registrar of Imported Vehicles when I get home and I'm good to go. NOT TO BE !!
The 5th...
We are planning on going to Disneyland, California this summer with the grandkids and were wondering if anyone knows of a decent rv park on the outskirts of LA that would be good to stay at. Really don't want to be in downtown Anaheim but would like a park within an hour or so of...
We have a unique method of toilet paper disposal in our trailer---NO TOILET PAPER goes in the black tank. We travel in Mexico a lot and the rule down there is no paper in the toilet because of small sewer lines---including in rv parks. We came across what we think is a good idea as a result---we...
I found this one in Utah---I don't have the VIN yet---coming this week from private sale---looks like a very clean unit---first time I've bought something sight unseen---looking forward to being a Heartland owner---know anyone who wants a nice 30 foot Seabreeze in good shape?
Hello Heartland Forum Folks
I have been rv'ing for several years now with a '98 Seabreeze 5th wheel which is for sale as we speak.
I have done a lot of research lately and have concluded that the nicest finished rv is the Heartland. I am looking to buy a used Landmark 5th wheel of the 2004 to...
