ATF: Cyclone - 4150 Black Tank 2 Flush

Just stick that thing down the toilet opening and let it run until you get clear water coming out of the dump hose. Use a clear dump hose adapter.

Gray and Black Tank Valves for a 2014 3950

It would be nice if they labeled it. I would think that the front compartment valves are for the front bath 1 gray and 1 black. And the rear valve compartment is for the kitchen 1 gray and rear bath 1(black and gray). You will have to figure it out, by process of elimination as said above...

Has anyone upgraded to LED ?

I am looking to change the interior lights to LED. Not sure if to go with a new fixture with the led installed, or just install a LED bulb. Also, does anyone know the voltage difference at the fixture, battery vs. generator? I have found fixtures the have a range of 11-18 volts...

    Pismo Beach, CA

Site # 13. Sites 11-13 are best for me, easy beach access. Jalama (inside the park) is very tight in spots. Jalama rd. is 14 miles and will take 30 min. just take it slow, a lot of blind curves. Have a great time. OH, also watch out for the overhanging oak trees on Jalama rd. I have never hit...

    Pismo Beach, CA

Unless you are willing to get sand all over your rig, plus the possibility of getting stuck, I would not attempt the beach. It can get very windy at Pismo and sand gets everywhere. If I went to Pismo I would stay in a RV park, there are several. Jeff, you could contact the chamber of commerce...

    Fresh water fill problems. RESOLVED

The last trip out our fresh water was gone in just a few days. I can never trust the gauges, So I opened the underbelly and observed the fill. I filled till it started to back up and observed the level. It was only filled 30% front and rear. I found that the rear tank vent line was sagging...

How to remove lights in Kitchen/Living Room in '11 3950 CY HD

jwalker, The lens rotates about 90degs counter clockwise then pops out. The problem is, that the entire fixture tends to turn while you are trying twist the lens off. The fixture just has two big springs that hold it in place, so try pulling straight down, it will feel tight but that is just...

Storage wars!! Where has all the storage gone?

AJ, we have a 2012 3950. We were recently looking at the new units and came up with the same conclusion as (cyclone 3950). So we are not upgrading this year. Here are some observations and thoughts. It would be nice to have all layouts "per model" available to see (in photos) on your web site...

Please make under belly in sections.

When I was replacing the hose it did look like the tank could be supported better. The factory puts a piece of ply wood under each fresh water tank, which seemed to bow. Not sure if I should go back in and make some support braces. We do take ours off road at least 20 miles per trip, mainly wash...

Installed "Genturi" to mitigate generator exhaust gas, smell & CO monitor alarm

I got them at Home depot, in the tile section, and the straps in the plumbing section. It took me at least an hour of looking before I found that combo. The suction cup worked great, I had to reattach cup to trailer 2 times during 4 days. One night was 25 mph wind and everything stayed put.

Please make under belly in sections.

2012 Cyclone 3950 Dear heartland, just had to replace the hose that connects the 2 fresh water tanks. What a pain in the ###. If the under belly was in at least 3 sections it would make repairs easier. Please consider. 1 section in front of fresh water tanks. 1 section for fresh water tanks...

Installed "Genturi" to mitigate generator exhaust gas, smell & CO monitor alarm

We have had our 2012/Cylone 3950 out many times, my wife since day #1 says she smells exhaust. It never set off the co monitor until last trip. After checking all of the seals I came to the conclusion that their is no way to totally seal up any rv that has slide outs. Well, I just...

    2 propane regulators?

2012 3950, why 2 regulators? Their is a regulator after the dual tank switch valve (which feeds the rv), so why is their one on the kitchen side tank, which is upstream of switch valve?
