Upgrading 6000 lbs to 7000 lbs springs

I really don't like the look of my springs and I wouldn't mind changing them out. BTW I was told by the dealer via Lippert that they're OK??? They look flat to me! Has anyone done this? I just want to change the springs and not the axles. I would imagine the width and length to be the same but...

    Progressive Ind EMS protection install

Interesting day today installing a 50 Amp surge protector. It's the Progressive Industries HW50C model which comes with the digital display. I had the same thing in the previous trailer but it was a 30 Amp. Cutting, stripping and attaching the heavy gauge wire was a challenge in the confined...

The easy way to get 2 Sat lines to the Ent Center

    1. Get 2 diplexers, make up 2 short coax cables and another cable long enough to go from the UDC to the splitter at the basement TV outlet. This is the Ant/cable feed which also goes to the rear Ent Center and bedroom. 2. Remove basement walls. 3. Remove one of the roof top sat feeds...

    Holding Tank Location

I'm wondering about the location of the holding tanks on my BH 3410. I put this question out on the Ask the Factory Bighorn section but no response so thought I'd try here! I would imagine they are generic to most Heartland products and I do know that the fresh water tank is over the axles. Just...

    Holding Tank Location

Wondering about the location of the holding tanks on my BH 3410. On the previous trailer the freshwater was at the very rear with the gray up front at the end of the basement, then black and then galley all progressing towards the axles. Would this be a similar configuration?

    Adding a "PANTRY" in a 3410

Our 3410 came with the big 2x2 door fridge w/icemaker. Great but it's so big it takes up the space where a pantry normally goes. Stumbled upon a solution at Lowe's with this slide out shelf unit. I had to cut it down about 5" as it was too high, but depth and width wise it fits as good as it...

    Under bed storage

While checking the to see if the electrical wires under the bed where rubbing I botched up the wood cover trying to put it back so decided to cut it down. I've seen others on here who have come up with interesting ways to do this so I guess I started a new project! The right side has a steel...

    Slam door locks

Tried a search but didn't come up with an answer. When we where given the new keys to our new BH 3410 yesterday, I noticed the slam door lock keys looked generic! I was under the impression that the locks where individually keyed per coach but now I'm not so sure. Are these keys generic in that...

    electrial outlets on 3250TS

Our 3250 is on order and of course we've been looking at pictures imagining how things will fit. Can't see any outlets other than the ones in the entertainment center. Are there any at the end behind the chairs or the sofa. Didn't think at the time to look closer at the dealers demo.

Which one a BH 3055RL or BC 3250TS

Time to upgrade! Need more room and more storage space for snowbirding. Seriously looking at the BH 3055RL or BC 3250TS. Both have their pluses and minuses. We like the openness of the 3250 with the enclosed bathroom and the king bed is nice in the 3055 along with the desk just to name a few...
