The same tires that you have. Michelin LTX A/T2. Great tire when not towing. When i do tow, we are 25,000 lbs. I think that is the contributing factor.

Hi, I purchased a new F350 Ford in the spring. After 16,000 kilometres (10,000Miles) the tires are over half worn. I purchased a set of 8-10 bolt adapters to allow me to install 19.5 inch tires and Alcoa wheels. Hopefully we get better mileage from these tires.

Both Documents are directly from Ford. The marketing bulletin is from Ford's Technical site "Inford.com". If you are unsure of what you are reading, present these to your dealer for them to confirm. Be sure of what you are doing as your powertrain warranty could be in question!

I have a 2017 ford F350 and a 2016 F450. My dealer told us that the specs have chnaged on the CK4 oil to CK7 and it does not meet the ford requirements anymore. The oil that is being reccomended now is Mobil one 0w40 with the CK4 Spec.

I have not have mine weighed. I know I'm heavy as I have a 5.5 generator and washer and dryer along with two Trojan 1275 batteries. We spent a lot of time in our trailer thus having a large wardrobe and full cupboards.

Personally, I would forget the ladder. The back wall of your trailer will most likely be framed with wood even though the side walls are aluminum. The ladder is more an looks piece rather than functional. When using the ladder you will be pulling on the stanchions and stepping the wall...

Dave, I have the same truck and have not been able to find an Air Bag Kit. The rear axle in the F450 is much larger than the F350 and 2014 F450. It is a square tube heavy duty truck axle. The air bags would be of great benefit to level the truck when loaded and help with the headlight aim.

Thanks. Seems odd that you feed the transfer switch with the 12 gage and all the rest of the wiring is 6 gage.

I have a 5500 LP unit that I'm installing in my 4010RD Big Country. The Load wires coming out of the generator are only 12 gage. Why are the wires sized so small for a 50 Amp service? The wiring charts show a 6 gage wire size for 50 Amps. Thanks Jeff

We had the same issues with ours. Tried the fork oil, it helped but didn't cure it. Talked to Lippert and the rep indicated that they had success with the Catipiller oil. Tried that and it has been fine.

I wish there was a cure for the ailment. LOL. There will be a time where we cant do it any more. We are trying to stay current so when we retire in a few years we have a fairly current unit.
