Sundance awning not working how hard to change the motor.

Sharon and I would like to welcome our long time friends to the Heartland family. White-knuckles is the name they are using and I don't think they have posted yet. They have a 2011 3685 Big Horn. We will try to get them to a rally this summer. :D

The last time I ran in the liv kit slide it ran in as usual until it got to the closed position where it usually goes click click click it made a sqealing noise instead. I ran the slide out yesterday and out as usual till fully out and the sqealing noise again. Now the slide won't come in just...

Stopped for the night at Double J we are on our way home after 2 weeks in Mi. at South Haven and Holland. Had a pretty good trip except for one of my Mich. going bad on the truck at Gary In. and one of my China Bombs going bad on the 5er. Caught both before any damage. Guess I've got to find...

Just turned off my Dish Network to give Direct TV a try and Dish informed me I would have to pay out of my pocket to send their equipment back to them so if anyone is considering Dish this is what to expect from them. I had been a long time customer of Dish but they didn't seem to care.:mad:

Saw 1 Big Country, 2 Sundances, and a Big Horn heading south on I 65 south of Birmingham Al this morning and a Big Horn and Landmark heading south on I 55 south of Sikeston Mo. this evening. I guess its getting too cold since it seems everyone is heading south. :D

RV.net is taking a poll to see what everyones favorite RV is. I voted for Heartland and the results so far were only 2% so everybody that likes their Heartland needs to vote and show our support.:D

Well after leaving the rally in Goshen and by the way met alot of good people and had alot of fun and of course ate too much we headed to Holland Mi. The weather was nice, cool at nite a/c during the day then thur. nite storm rolls in drops 2 in rain,fri evening another storm ( big one) high...

Why did everyones state disappear from below their join date ? I liked that you could see where everyone was from. I have dial up so it takes forever to check the location.

Has anyone had the cover break off covering their outside co ax? It just has the plastic for a hinge and broke after only using it about 5 times. If anyone has had this break what was your fix?

Has anyone else heard about the huge recall on tire valve stems made in China. Seems the valves are cracking and tires are blowing out. When is our Gov. going to do something about this junk from China?:mad: I wonder where our valve stems on our RV's came from.:eek:

July 14th saw a Big Country pulled by a black Ford going west on I 80- I 94 in Indiana. Saw a Big Country in Holland State Park the week of July 14th, Il. plates on the truck DA MAX . Never could catch anyone there so don't know if they are on the forum. Spent the next week in South Haven...

What kind of temps are you getting in the frig ? Have the temp adj. slid up and still having a hard time keeping it below 40. Have a 2900 MK with the frig in the slide and it has a fan above the coils that runs almost constantly.

Well we took the new Sundance out for her first trip and everything seemed to work fine. I checked for leaks in the places people on the forum had talked about and didn't find any so maybe our trailer wasn't built on a mon. or fri.:) The weather wasn't the greatest so we got to use the furnace...

Does the Sundance need travel bars for the slides when they are in?

I read that alot of Heartland owners are using Spic & Span on their roofs and having good luck. My problem is seems nobody carries the powder anymore. I e-mailed Spic & Span about this and am waiting for an answer. Maybe they can get Wal Mart to carry it.

What is the correct way to fill the fresh water tank? My old 5th wheel had a tank I could see when filling so this hidden tank is new to me. I have heard some people say they had problems and were told they were over filling the tank.

If these Made in China tires are so unsafe how is Heartland getting by with putting them on their trailers. I've got a new Sundance, 2900MK and you guys have me afraid to pull it. Admin: Moved post to its own thread on the Sundance Tires forum. Netem, Heartland is not going to answer this...
