None done by me and based on the condition of the fasteners and existing penetrations these all looked like original locations. I do not believe there is a template for the locations and the assembler has some discretion on placement as even the remaining lateral screws floated front/back along...
Update: Smoking Gun Found
So I was finishing up the repairs by properly dressing the penetration, protecting the harness in new loom then refoaming the hole with black landscaping foam, when I was dumbfounded by the presence of a very sharp and pointy screw right in the path of the existing...
Agreed, this looks pretty chopped up. Some of the tell tails are the aluminum skirting at the bottom of the trailer where they cut access for the cylinders and mounts, it looks like it was done by hand with a die grinder. Also where the skirting used to be secured to the I-Beam flange with...
I wonder if this issue has presented itself before? If I wasn't pinched for time (heading to Sturgis on Wednesday), I would do the same thing and run non-metallic, PVC conduit from front to back outside the frame rails then snake the hose inside that.
Hi John,
Pretty sure its the 3010 Cyclone, if memory serves me. We use it twice a year (Sturgis in the Summer and Florida in the Winter), so kind of surprised abrasion happened this early as the electrical also has a secondary corrugated sleeve then expanding foam is used. as mentioned in my...
Hi Lynn,
I think this is a 2013, I bought used in 2014. I had no issues with the electric until this year, so this failure happened while I owned it. I am curious however who/when the auto leveling was installed as it looked like this is something added after the coach was finished; is this a...
On a recent 2,500 mile trip between Chicago and Ft Myers, FL we ran into a problem with our running lights not working on half the carriage. Two days of troubleshoot and repair as a result of a electrical short at a steel cross member penetration. As a mechanical engineer I understand product...
So I brought my meter with this last weekend and began checking power at the switch...scratched my head when I was reading 12v switched and good ground. I chased the wires to the splice above the cabinets to check power there...once again it measured fine. Feeling frustrated I pulled the bulbs...
I have a 10' garage in our 3010 and haul a Harley Street Glide and '15 900 RZR Trail at the same time, its super tight but they both fit. With the RZR, its best to back it in, that what you can swing the front in tight once past the door.
Great! thanks for your help. Heartland recommended I drop the skin off the bottom of the trailer and pull the refrigerator so I can trace the wires...pfft!
Thanks Jim,
I checked the obvious stuff, it looks like I'll need to grab a MM and dig a little deeper. Just so we are clear, the switch is this one that is circled?
I'll take a look, but from memory it didn't look like there was any room left in the track to allow the bunks to drop lower. I'll be stopping by storage this week as it looks like I need to take some measurements to determine the best option for correcting the wrong leg length.
Thanks for the help guys, I talked to Customer Support and they wouldn't warranty them because I am not the original owner. My conversation included "what difference does that make when the factory installed the wrong ones?" and the CR representative responded with "maybe the original owner...
In our '13 3010, the lower bench seats of the Happi-Jak system have (4) fold out supports under the benches that I suppose should contact the garage floor when in use? This weekend we had guests stay over for the first time and thought we would give the garage bed a try. After pivoting the...
Spent the week with the trailer and tried to pick this problem up again. I took some close up pictures of the control panel and even opened the lower panel up as the small black rocker in the lower section label "Light" doesn't seem to affect anything.
It looks like Camco makes these things and they can be picked up at CW or Amazon for a couple bucks. The brackets look cheap and no selections for counter top materials :(
None of the LED puck lights have self contained switches that I know of, but if they did I would need a ladder to reach them as they are mounted over the cabinets ;)
Not a dumb question and was actually my first coarse of action...this thread was originally posted in the "Ask the Factory" group where I provided the details and the VIN. I guess the admin thought I would get the answer more quickly by moving it to the general discussion and allowing the...
I put an arrow on the picture of the MCP you originally posted...although I won't have access to the Toy Hauler till Spring, I'm 95% sure I do not have an additional switch below these panels. But then again, I don't think I have LEDs in my awning (maybe I do) and there is a small black rocker...
So your picture doesn't show the additional switch below? I have no additional rockers below the MCP, but I do have that "Light" rocker next to the Awning rocker...I haven't looked to see if there are any LEDs in the awning, so that may still be my light? Is the switch you have below the MCP the...
Thanks Clay, I have the exact same MCP as you. I'm guessing your referring to the switch on the bottom right labeled "Light" right next to the Awning rocker? Seeing all the other switches for the ceiling and exterior lights that was the first one I tried, however it had no affect on anything. I...
Hi guys and thanks for the responses. I've checked every interface point, with the exception of the Welcome Home feature. Is there an interface to control how this feature works? I would think since the location of these lights is functional, you would want to control them independently of the...
in our '13 3010, we have a mixture of conventional incondecent 12 volt trailer lights in the cabin with the tiny rocker control on the switch and (3) unique zones of LED puck lights (over the couch, over the headboard in bedroom and over the kitchen counters) each controlled by their own unique...
