We area hauling 1 bagger and 1 sporty.....and we are VERY happy with the B&W Biker Bar solution that eliminates strapping the bikes. Been across the country without straps and never a flaw.
Thanks Porthole.....my post was post was the final update with photos (done). Your suggestion was spot on though....there was trim easy to remove to access the wiring.
I've worked with that type of kit before for other applications. When you applied the lights to the roller did you recess in the channel or just apply on top of the barrel? Also, where did you hide the receiver box? Photo?
thank you!!
Anyone else experience their Carefree Awning light going out in various places? Looks like there is I moisture getting in and shorting them out. Both of my awnings look the same. I don't want to repurchase with the same......in fear it will just do it again. Thoughts?

Last update:
We are back in business. Interesting note....the photo below shows the replacement room bar. Notice it is Chanel Iron.... The original build was the same except Lippert cut the channel down the middle, essentially causing it to be weak and without integrity. With as often as we...
1 month update:
Sad to say, I am Amazingly frustrated with Lippert. They were to ship our "room bar" August 17th (the date came and went). Then with multiple excuses and apologies, they said it would ship August 24 and to make up for complications on their end, they would express ship it...
Thanks for the phone numbers and suggestions. The room bar is made by Lippert. Unfortunately the slide is not functional as the room bar is pulling away from the flooring of the slide. Very upsetting.
Dear Heartland,
I have just been informed by my local rv shop, my room bar on our Cyclone 4200 2015 needs to be replaced and will take 3-4 weeks to receive the part. This is located on the large slide. I'm writing in hopes, through this forum, there is an opportunity to have the part shipped...
It's been dim for months so I finally decided to post the question. After a 3 hour ride home today, it mysteriously turns on full brightness! Must be a loose connection. Will have to drop it and investigate.
Too funny.
I have one dim led light in the master bed....what can I check? All other lights throughout coach are fine. Doesn't matter if on battery or shore power.
Thanks BLH! Strange how HL wasted some potential space there. I now need to see how folks are adding towel hangers and such in the master bath. No place to put anything in there......

I installed this (just two bolts) and traveled across the US with no straps! Amazingly secure and plumb easy to use. Just another option for you to consider.
Good luck,
Paul
I'm not sure I should say you're welcome and all.....just gave you another project :-). I didn't think the 2" would make much difference but it is now a functional area. Just remember to make the shelving removable as this is your access point to garage bathroom supply. The mod took just over...
Its been done elsewhere on this forum (not taking credit:-), but here is our version of moving this wall back 2 inches to make room for spice racks and a 4 inch shelf. The wall moves back very easily to do this mod.
I picked up a few more strip LED lighting to increase visibility from the tail lights. Has anyone added lights? If so, how best to tap into existing wiring? No need to reinvent the wheel here.
Thanks,
Paul
Ordered and installed last weekend. For a while I did not have it hard mounted.....just kept it in the basement during storage. Finally installed (should have done that from the beginning). Huge difference in stability. The back patio does not seem to be an issue in comparison.
The dowel / epoxy is a great idea. I was hoping a larger gauge screw would get the job done (fail). I just don't think there is much "bite" in the wall behind the fridge.
Well.....back to the drawing board. My fridge stayed in place with the quarter round oak strip. However, after our first trip out the L-bracket screws at the top of the fridge are already coming loose from the wall.
Good idea and what I needed to hear about the 4.0 version with the integrated keypad. It's possible to do so without interfering with the electronics then. I may just fire up the Dremel ;-)
Thanks for replying.
Last season our residential refrigerator broke free from our slide wall L-bracket. I later realized the front leveling feet were never lowered and therefore sitting on 4 wheels from the factory (of course it broke free!!) I reattached it with larger diameter self tappers and installed some oak...
The nearest CAT dealer is an hour away. Any recommendations for where else to purchase. I could not find anything online other than the two non-CAT oils with additives.
Thanks Dave. Price seems about right. Glad you mentioned this......I just placed (and cancelled) an order for one of the other Oils w/ additive.
Sincerely,
Paul
Anyone ever hear "creaking" or "settling" sounds coming from your level up jacks? I do every now and then. I found this on another forum and wondered if it is to treat these sounds. Anyone try this? It's a Lippert Service Bulletin as well...
To my surprise, I recently drained our 10g Atwood hot water heater to find it was just a plastic plug for the drain. I was expecting to see the standard anode rod used in these water heaters.
Anyone else experience this......2014 Cyclone 4200? I'm assuming I can purchase similar to the link...
Teeth all look good. Transfer of energy all looks good. I tightened the nylon nut and it closes perfect. I will definitely keep an eye on this. Wondering if it was ALWAYS like this and I just didn't notice (unlikely). But it seems I'm chasing quality issues all the time.
Really...
Will tightening the nylon lock (the single nut my finger is pointing to) vs adjusting the jamnut #1 and #2 close the room tighter against the coach?
I think I need it about an inch tighter. Is it possible the teeth skipped keeping my room from closing? Can I adjust that instead?
