T12 sockets are what is known as non-shunted. T8 sockets are shunted. What this means , simplified, is a T12 socket has two wires, blue, red or yellow, going to it. A T8 socket only has 1 wire, same colors. If the led lamp only runs on 120 volts, you have to have T12 sockets. Only one end...
I have an 07 Tahoe and a 32' overall long tt and had to tow with it one time. That won't happen again unless it's an emergency again. That length needs at the least a 250, 2500 to feel comfortable. A crew cab long wheel base it what I have and I will never go smaller than that.

I use to tow our Wilderness 2775 rb , pretty much the same length as yours, with a 2007 F150. Same problem with sway. I added a second sway control and went to light truck tires and that helped alot. Made the sway pretty much go away. I switched to a 2016 f250 but still use the sway control on...
The under belly is enclosed and heated with a furnace duct. I do have a heat gun that will be going with us. So far thanks to everyone for the responses. I'm starting to formulate a plan as to what I want to do. I want to cover all the bases just in case.

I'm looking for some suggestions. We are going to be camping in Pigeon Forge in December over Christmas this year. I would like to hear what others do about water hookup during cold weather. I have been looking at the heated water hoses available and haven't seen many good reviews. Just...
Actually used Minwax spray stain and polly for the color and used satin polly over that once it dried. Everything was stapled into place from the factory. I used screws this time. I did make sure the lower edge of the wood was sealed just in case water gets down there. Between the door not...
First I want to say happy veterans day to all of my fellow veterans on this forum. Now to the post. We had to leave the Wilderness with CW shortly after we purchased it for some warranty work and we got some water damage due to the outside kitchen door not closing correctly. It finally got to...
Haven't tried the break away switch. I do remember towing with our Tahoe and it stopped just fine, just like the F150. I just feel like it has something to do with the truck and not the trailer. Just wondering if anyone else had an issue like this. The Wilderness only weighs 7000lbs.

That is something I will look at but I don't think that is what is going on. If i do find that you will surely get a thumbs up.

I have just noticed something that I would like some feedback on. I purchased a 2016 F250 in July. It has the built in brake control. We took a trip to Pigeon Forge in August and I set the controller on 5 thinking that should be enough. I noticed that it never really felt like the trailer...
Mine did the same thing in our Wilderness. I couldn't find anything at Lowes since they pretty much just carry PVC, not ABS pipe. I got a hose clamp just large enough to fit around the broken fitting and tightened it up to close the split. Then I screwed it back on and finished tightened it a...
Traded up from my 07 F150 to this. 2016 F250 with less than 14500 miles. Gas not diesel. My daily driver but we only pull about 7000lbs with the Wilderness. Now to just get the time to go do a little camping.

We had enough of the faucets that came in the Wilderness so I picked these up at Lowes. First 2 pics are the old ones. The kitchen one never worked good from the start, really stiff to move and the spray head was messed up. New ones are great.

Maybe some day. Still doing that 4 letter word so we just don't get to travel that far. But if you ever make it to the east side there's always some in the freezer chillin.

Gave her a bath and loaded up the essentials. Heading to the RV show in Raleigh next Friday. Time to get the season started.

My wife and I have just been to our 3rd rally. At our 1st, our chapter leader came by and introduced himself and brought a small welcome basket. We talked a little and he introduced us to a few of the other attendees. This was very appreciated as I see where one could feel out of place. We met...
Had a great time at the rally and now home safe and sound. Thanks again to Chris and Candi for the great get together as always and congratulations to Hayden and Gigi for becoming the new chapter leaders. We're sure you will do a great job. Looking forward to seeing everyone at another rally...
Try unplugging it from the 120 volt outlet and running it on gas only. I believe it has to have 12 volts for the gas but not 120. If it runs on gas this will get you by until you can have someone check the outlet and the electric side of the fridge.

Sounds like you have a problem with your fridge. Find where it's plugged in and check out the outlet. Make sure your power is off. You can use an ohm meter to check if you have a short to ground. Also check between ground to neutral on the fridge cord. If you get any voltage leaking between...
You can get these connectors at an electrical supply house. They are already insulated but you should also put them in a junction box.

I also was a subcriber to their channel. This is so sad. No one deserves to to leave that early in life. I truly hope Caro recovers. Such sad news.

Trailer looks level but truck is nose high. May have to lower the hitch head and readjust the bars for more load to add more force to rase the rear of the truck

Last year I added LED strip lights to the awning tube and on the side just below the awning. Ran the wiring to the outside kitchen and that meant I had to open the kitchen door to turn them on and off. So today I re routed the wires inside where the furnace is. Added an outlet by tapping into...
Cost is the over riding factor here. I believe 3m makes a fire resistant spray foam just like the foam used in the camper but is orange in color. I have used it when wiring houses as it is an approved fire stop. But it is more expensive than great stuff foam. It would be great to see the...
