We are spending the week in Davenport to visit some family and on Friday, here comes another Big Horn. I spoke with the owners briefly. They are here for the weekend from Indiana. Nice couple and they were not aware there was a Heartland Owners Forum. They mentioned they needed to know that so...
We own the 3670 RL and I wouldn't trade it for anything in the world. We full time in it and it can accommodate anything you might need. My husband uses the office all the time and the kitchen can be used by the most gourmet cook. We had a w/d unit put in so it fits all our needs. And oh, by the...
Wow, sounds Yummy.
I made something similar a couple months ago and it turned out great.
I also will buy a pork loin and place it in the slow cooker with either chicken broth or beef broth. Go off and leave it for about 4-5 hours. Makes terrific pulled pork sandwiches.
My husband & I owned a Forest River Sunseeker (Class C) we were happy in the beginning but we are full timers and it got small fast. It was 31 ft with 2 slides. While we were in Tucson we started researching whether we were going with a Class A or a 5er. I wanted the 5er. It gave me more of a...
Coming from a ladies point of view..... I like the varied color choices. It gives me an opportunity to pick one or two colors from the color palate that we can use throughout. If there were solid colors only, we would be stuck with no options.
We wish there was a wind sensor on our awning like a lot of the Class A's have that would retract the awning automatically when the winds pick up. We have seen many awnings ripped apart because someone has left theirs out at night and a storm picked up. Or a retrofit item so that we could now...
I agree with cdbMidland. During set up we need stuff from the storage are ie: hose, water filter etc. so it helps that it is right there next to it. You would have to open that area anyway. But what I would like is some sort of catch to help keep the door open while working in that area. The...
We have also had NO problems with our bed and we have had LOTS of company over the past 5 months. Sleeps great according to our visitors. Folds right back up into a wonderful couch.
Sorry to hear that yours is not working properly. I am sure you will get it resolved though.
Our BH is 38' and weighs 16,000 lbs. We pull it with our Ford F-250. It has never given us a problem and we have been coast to coast over the Hoover Dam, the Poconos and the Appalachians.
Not sure about the TT
We have had our BH since Mid March and we are full timers. Moved into the BH from owning a class C. WOW what a difference. We are still giddy over ours. We are presently in Remington, IL. for 4 days then on up towards Davenport, IA. I love this life.
