To all who gave me suggestions about my slide creeping out, thanks. What did the trick was cycling the slides approximately 5 times, and no more creeping out. So, whatever it was causing it, the cycling seemed to fix it. Thanks, Ron

Thanks for the suggestions. I had already checked for leaks, and it had been repaired recently for a hydraulic leak. so I will do some recycling of the slide. Ron

Dan, Yes the slide is hydraulic, and I assume the pump runs because I can open and close them without any problems. I have it parked at a friends house while I'm working on it, and the slide movement must be very slow, because it has opened only a few inches when I go back to it the next day. I...

Thanks Duane, Yes, batteries not cheap, but they are the best on the market right now. Have made the cables using 2/0 wire. Checking out another switch before final install. Ron Jardot

Thanks again Jim, my rig has a spot for the generator in the front garage/storage area where the batteries and hydraulic system is, but don't think it is generator prepped in that sense, where it would have a large transfer switch. I'll post some pics when all done, and solar will be next year...

That's good to know that you use once a year. Have seen different opinions on number of times a year to use but ultimately is dependent on climate in area you reside I would think.

That's good to know. The Rejex did a great job on my Heartland Oakmont. I will look into the cleaner as well for maintaining purposes.

I have since bought the regular Max Air and have pre-fitted it on top. It will work when I get chance to put on permanently. Hopefully this weekend at Oasis Resort in Las Vegas for Superbowl weekend! I had talked to Heartland people about it and they did not have a solution. Thanks! Ron

I own an Oakmont 325RE 2016 and was installing a MAX Air 2 vent on top. It does not fit due to the way that particular vent comes to a point and interferes with the vent tube coming from the toilet. Does anybody have suggestion on what brand vent cover will work? Thanks

I have just purchased my Heartland Oakmont and wondering about best protection for it. Wax or sealant? Have heard of sealer called Rejex and also product sold by Dealers called Perma Plate. Any experience with either product? Thanks
