As i suspected, the fan and the compressor are running, but the condenser isn't getting warm/hot, and the evaporator isn't getting cold. The compressor gets a little warm, but that's about it. I have to assume all the refrigerant has leaked out.
Thanks. I'm surprised there's no low pressure cutoff. Thought that was pretty standard on AC units. I'll have the climb up there tomorrow and see what I can figure out.
The bedroom AC in my 415RW isn't cooling. It's a non-ducted unit directly above the bed. When I turn it on the fan blows and I can hear the compressor kick on and stay on, but there's no change in the air temperature. My first thought is it's low on refrigerant, but of course there's no...
Yeah, those would work in some locations. Gotta be careful with the ones hidden when the slides are in. Not much clearance.

Really? I searched all over Amazon and couldn't find one with USB. Can you post a link?
That's the standard duplex type that requires a box mounted in the wall, like in your house. The self-contained ones mount directly to the wall and don't require a box. They're shallower and fit in those thin RV walls.

My 5th wheel has some duplex outlets with traditional electrical boxes, but most of them are the self-contained type that don't use a box. Has anybody been able to find a self-contained duplex receptacle with the integrated USB ports? They're readily available for the box type receptacles, but...
So, are you keeping the MorRyde pin box? Was it the bent pins on the Pullrite causing your problem? You mention the Anderson hitch collapsing during an accident. What happened? I'm very happy with my Anderson Ultimate, but I've not had an accident.
I'm a little disappointed to hear that as I'm looking hard at the MorRyde. My trailer is the same size as yours and MorRyde is recommending the number 5 as well. It could be that the rubber spring on yours is damaged. I'd be very interested to hear if you find some resolution. I'm towing...
I realize there are several other rambling discussions about the Anderson and various pin boxes that go back a couple years. So what's the verdict on the best pin box for the Anderson? Or at least what is everybody's experience? I have the aluminum version that I really love. There's no...
Like I said, there's no play in the Anderson hitch, but the 18K lbs trailer does cause some surge of sorts. You can feel the trailer pushing and pulling the truck. I wonder if the fact that you have the Trail Air with the Anderson hitch, the Trail Air is taking up some of that surging motion.
No. I get some up and down over certain surfaces. Sometimes a pretty hard bang when the truck rear axle goes over. Hoping airbags will take up some of that. There's no "looseness" with the Anderson, but I definitely get some fore and aft motion. No surprise when a 14-18k pound toy hauler is...
I also have the Anderson Ultimate aluminum hitch, and I'm very happy with it. There is no play at the kingpin, so there's no clunking at all. However, we still do get that annoying fore and aft movement. Chucking I guess. I would love to dampen it a bit (a lot). I'm considering the Flexair...
I have a 2013 Road Warrior 415RW. Twice this summer when I raised the front end of the RV up water started pouring into the generator area. Apparently there was water sitting in the area above the king pin. I can't figure out how it's getting in there. I don't see any moisture inside...
Yeah, any rise in height is a showstopper. It already makes me nervous going under power lines on back roads. I'll be sure to measure three times before making the leap. I guess it depend on the types of links your replacing.
I have an '03 Suburban with 230K on it. It's rated to tow 7200 pounds. Until we recently purchased a 3500 dually and a 5th wheel we used the Suburban to tow a 30' trailer all over the mid-Atlantic. The gross weight on the trailer was probably 5500-6k pounds. We always seem to take way too...
I don't have a problem doing the installation. It looks pretty simple and I'm pretty handy (cheap too!). But a grand + aint chump change. I just want to make sure I'm going to get $1200 worth of improvement in the ride.
Thanks. That's what I'm looking for, some first hand knowledge. The SRE400 would be almost $1,000 on my triple axle. I really want to be sure it will substantially improve the ride before I drop that kind of cash.
I have a 2013 RW415 that we purchased last summer. We're very happy with the rig, but the ride could use a little improvement. It really doesn't like concrete pavement with any kind of defect, expansion joints, etc. I'm considering the MORryde SRE4000 in hopes of seeing an improvement. It...
Can somebody explain how the waste tanks on my 415RW are laid out and which drains go where? I have the drawings from Heartland, but they're a bit confusing. They show a 45 gallon black water tank and a 45 gallon grey water tank towards the front of the trailer under the bedroom. Back under...
