Difference between Big Horn and Big Country

I am looking at both the BH and BC and was wondering what the major differences were. Is the quality of components better in the BH? Some of the layouts are very similar - that is not my concern right now. I am wondering why Heartland has two such similar lines of 5th wheels. Thanks... Dan

OK, all is now fixed. The new converter ($377) + a remote service call and labour and tax came to a little over $800. We are now off to Texas. Thanks again to all who helped... Dan

    Power fluctuations

Dave, I haven't found the converter yet, but once I do and unplug it, where do I connect the battery charger? I am concerned that the converter may fail before I can get it fixed - if this happens I need some way to generate 12v to keep the furnace running, it is below freezing out right now...

    Power fluctuations

OK, great info, thanks for all of that everyone. I did not understand the separation of the 110 and 12 v systems, now I do. So this is what I did... . checked the battery - connections tight and fluid levels correct. . pushed the reset button on the circuit breaker - don't think it had tripped...

    Power fluctuations

Just noticed that when the furnace is on the fan makes a noticeable change in pitch and the lights in the rv go up and down correspondingly. Is this an indication of a problem with the furnace or the power unit in the rv? We have been at 4 different parks in the last week and it happened at all...

Rex, I see that you have the same RV as I do, just different year. If you have your quick connect working, could you please look on the side of the female connector and tell me the numbers and then what numbers are on the male side. Thanks... Dan

    Propane fitting outside?

Hi, I have a 2011 Sundance 3200RE with the the external LP quick connect. On it it says to use #829000 plug. Does any one know the MrHeater equivalent? Or where to get the correct male part?

    Propane quick connect

I have a 2011 Sundance and it has a propane quick connect just to the right of the door. I would like to use it for my BBQ, but I am having difficulty finding the male connector that fits. I have purchased 2 different ones from RV stores but they are just slightly different sizes than the one...

    Winterizing my Sundance 3200

Hi, our Sundance is our first 5th wheel and I am looking forward to our trip south, but I need to winterize it until we leave the cold north in December. I know that there has been numerous questions about winterizing but here is another. I have drained the hot water tank and all of the holding...
