I have owned the Mor/Ryde pin box and would recommend the Mor/Ryde. We have used the Standard pin box on our Mobile Suites but we also had a Trailer Saver Air ride 5h wheel hitch. If I were spending the money I would go with a Trailer Saver Air ride hitch. Happy Trails.

I have owned more than one GM 3500HD, and have a 2012 Chevy 3500HD DRW's. I really believe there is no need for the 4.10 rear gear. The 3.73 will be find and the fuel mileage is better. The Duramax will turn less RPMs. I think you will be fine... I wouldn't even consider a 4.10 rear gear...

I don't think any additives are need except in extreme cold weather and then only a additive that prevents Diesel from Jelling. Happy Trails....

Pin weight will be the issue with the 3/4 tons Trucks, have owned several Duramax's never a issue. The GM Duramax has plenty of HP, the other issues is stopping the weight. I also don't believe in gadgets to increase HP/Torq, thats a personal choice but the GM HD Trucks don't need any more...
