    95% Decided on a 2011 3812

You can buy mine. It's a 2010 3812. I am not a handyman at all and believe me, you need to be a handyman to own a Cyclone. There are issues that pop up all over the place. You will need to be an electrician, plumber, carpenter, fridge repair guy, audio specialist... it never ends. The 3812 looks...

    3812 Lemon

We have taken the trailer to the dealer and had most of the issues dealt with. But they always re-ocurr and then, on top of everything else, new ones pop up. The TV has been "fixed" several times. Same with the fridge. New cupboard doors have yet to be delivered, although we are told they are...

    3812 Lemon

About 18 months ago I bought a 3812. It is a lemon. The fridge has NEVER worked. It keeps beer cool, but I would not put perishables in it. The TV has NEVER worked - EVER. To date, it has yet to capture a single channel. ALL of the cupboard doors FELL APART. The countertop cracked and has to be...

    Safety brake cable unplugged

While disconnecting the truck from the trailer the safety brake came unplugged. Can anyone tell me if it is easy to plug back in and also how to do it? Thanks.

    Loft ladder on Cyclone 3812

I love my 3812. But I hate the ladder that you have to climb to get up to the loft. The rungs are too hard on the feet. Flat rungs, as opposed to round, would be a lot better. Is there an alternative ladder available or has anyone done a successful mod? Thanks in advance.

Is TV and vacuum supposed to work on generator?

Where is this box? I looked near the generator but couldn't find any box.

Is TV and vacuum supposed to work on generator?

We have a 3812 with an Onan 5500 generator. But when running the generator the TV and the vacuum will not power up. We dis some trouble shooting behind the TV and there doesn't appear to be power going to the TV plug-in. We can run the TV off the plug-in on the island. This is a brand new unit...

Cyclone 3812 with table and chairs

Pic I don't have a picture handy but I can get one in a few days. Our 3812 is out getting some solar panels put on it. I'll take some pics when I get it back.

    Cyclone 3812??

We had a 3010 for a while and really liked it but found it a bit on the small side in the living area. Don't get me wrong, the 3010 was a really sweet trailer. But then it got trashed and written off and when the insurance company paid up we opted to replace our 3010 with the 3812, which we like...

    Cyclone vs Road Warrior

What's the difference between the Cyclone 3812 and the Road Warrior 385? The floor plans seem identical.

    Cyclone 3812

Our truck is an 09 Super Duty and we got the 16,500 spec directly from Ford. As I understand it, there are different variations of this truck with different specs. We had the 3010 5th wheel for a couple of months but it got totalled and we then upgraded to the 3812. The 3010 was nice but not...

    Cyclone 3812

We've only had the 3812 for a short while but have taken a couple of extended trips (avg. 1,000 km return) and have had absolutely no problems or difficulties at all. We do not yet have airbags, but they are going on next week and will make things even smoother than they are now - and it's...

Cyclone 3812 with table and chairs

We had a 3010 for one month before we bumped it up against a tree. The dent looked small but it was really $53,000.00 in damage. We were floored! The unit was written off and we just today upgraded to a 3812, with table and chairs, and love it. We find it much better than the 3010, although we...

    Here's a good one...

My insurance was through Co-operator's. It only cost $400.00 per year. It did not include replacement cost, but because the trailer was so new I got what I paid for it. And there was no hassle whatsoever. Quote came in, unit was written off and cheque was issued. Very prompt. I will probably...

    Here's a good one...

Bought a Cyclone 3010 in April. Hit a tree (well, rubbed up against it) in May. Didn't look too bad, a small dent really, but looks can be deceiving. The repair quote was $53,000!!!!! Luckily, I had good insurance (and accident forgiveness on top) and after the unit was written off I received...

    Speakers hooked up wrong

Just got our new 3010 toy hauler. Great camper! But when trying it out last week we discovered that the speakers on the sound system were hooked up wrong. The outside speakers are connected to the inside rear speakers jacks, which means the outside speakers are always on if you are watching TV...

Hoping to be a Heartland Owner

3010 and F250 Our 2009 F-250 Super Duty can pull fifth wheel weights of up to 16,500 pounds, which is in line with the Cyclone 3010 specs. We've had no trouble hauling it around at all. Don't even know it's there. This was all new to us, of course, and we had to rely on a lot of people who know...

Hoping to be a Heartland Owner

New 3010 Fifth Wheel Owner We took delivery of our new 3010 fifth wheel just yesterday and love it. It is our first trailer ever and we plan to put our two Vulcan 1500's in it and hit the road. We hope to be able to take our dog along with us. Our 3010 was purchased for $**** Cdn, (plus taxes)...
