Jim and I plan to be at Ron Hoovers open house too. We are spending the winter at Llano Grande in Mercedes.

We live in WI and I buy it at Farm & Fleet. It is also available at automotive stores.

I use "Lucas Slick Mist" on the truck. It makes the finish real slick and I notice the bugs don't stick on the front. Has anyone every used it on the nose of your camper?

Does anyone know of a park in the Jackson, WY area. We have a 40 foot Landmark. Most of the RV parks I find listed have quite small and narrow sites. One we found is called the "Jackson Hole RV Park" which seem a little larger. Has anyone stayed there?

While in TX last winter someone showed us a truck wax. It was in a clear gallon plastic bottle and you could see the orange colored wax thru the bottle. They said they purchased it at Harbor Freight, but we are unable to find it there or on the Harbor Freight website....also we can't remember...

When snowbirding and leaving home for 4 or 5 months do you shut of the main water valve, put anti-freeze in the traps and toilets or do you leave the water turned on? The furnace will be set at 55. Just wondering what most people do. Thanks

When we were full time we stayed several months at Custer's Gulch near Custer. We just loved it. The sites are nice, big grass sites, all are backed up to a pine forest. The people that own the campground are very nice.

Lakeshore RV Park has a beautiful view of Lake Michigan. We were happy to see Joe and Gene with their Bighorn. We are planning to go to Goshen in June of 2009. Jim, I and Ebbie are still fulltime and enjoying it very much. Our Landmark works very well for fulltime.

Use Moth Balls We put a few moth balls on the bottom ledge of the water heater, just inside the metal door. I also have a small net bag of moth balls tied inside the bottom frig vent. The smell goes up and out the top vent. We have never had a problem with mud dobbers by using the moth balls

We need a sun screen for our back window. Due to the design of the back cap and the attachment of the back ladder, has anyone been able to install the pull-down shade type? If possible, I would like the shade type rather than the sun screen that attaches with snaps or toggles to the back window.
