I too have this same problem on my 2011 Bighorn. I noticed this past winter that two of the seals had partially deteriorated into a gooey mush. I planned on getting them replaced when I returned to Idaho for my annual wheel bearing packing and other maintenance. I found however that during my...
I have recently discovered the underbelly liner was sagging. I poked it with a knife and water ran out for several hours. Apparently I have a leak somewhere. I removed the access panels to behind the UDC, under the shower and bath sink, and around the water heater. I could find no evidence...
What grease is recommended for using the zirks on the wheel bearings? I was once told that the grease used has to be compatible with the grease packed into the bearings; it is possible to decrease the lubricity by using incompatible grease, is this a legitimate concern?
The end cap on one of our wheel covers has come off while on the road. Do you know where I can get a replacement end cap or the entire wheel hub. This is the cap that can be removed to remove the rubber cover on the grease cup to get access to the bearing grease zirk.
The strainer basket/plug in our kitchen sink has fallen apart. After reassembling it and trying to glue and otherwise hold it together several times we have given up. We have tried to find one that fits in plumbing stores and RV centers but to no avail. Where can we find one that fits the RV...
When I am connected to city water my fresh water tank fills and overflows. The last time I was dry camping I noticed that the water pump would run occasionally, about every 20 minutes, but no leaks could be found. Does this mean the pump back flow prevention does not work? How can this be...
Many of the steps (rungs) on the ladder are broken. I fear for my safety when I go onto the roof to check things out or clear the top of the slides before retracting them. Can replacement rungs be purchased? Where can they be obtained? Can we get the owners club discout for them?
I need to restring one of the shades in our 2011 Bighorn 3670RL. I cannot see any obvious way to remove the shade or to remove the valence. Does anyone have any insight before I start to destroy something?
Re: Water on basement floor - Water Leak
We had a problem in our 3670RL bighorn finding an inch or two of water in the basement (storage compartment). This repeated several times, even after the dealer checked it out and found everything OK. On one occasion I actually heard water running and...
Thanx for the reminder. I had a similar occurrence with my wheel chocks a couple of years ago. I now use a plastic milk crate for my chocks and leveling boards and place a bungee cord over the top to prevent this problem.
