4" Bumper Bike Carrier

Does anyone know if the 4" square bumper on the Big Country 5th wheel is suitable to install one of the many hitch receiver's sold by after market co.'s The makers usually specifies that it needs to have a continuous seam weld. Each side of my bumper is welded for about 4 - 6 inches to the frame. Does this constitute a continuous seem weld?
I am hoping to be able to use my current bike rack that has been riding courageously for a year in front of my truck!!!!
Any insight would be greatly appreciated.None

The factory 4"x4" bumper (sewer hose container) is very thin and a 2" reciever welded to it will likely crack from the road bounce. Some here have replaced the thinner square tubing with a thicker version with 3/16" wall.

What about the bolt on kind?

I was thinking about adding one of these also. I was looking at the one made by Curt and turning it upside down so the weight of the bike carrier would be resting on the bumper instead of hanging from the bumper. Do you think the bumper would hold it if it was not welded?
