Bunnie, do you know the brand of the oven control ? Robert Shaw is a popular brand for commercial & residential units. The TC's can be bought at Sid Harvey's, Allied Refrigeration or a local HVAC place - and also on line. I really doubt Magic Chef makes their own TC's or controls. Try to get the model number off the label on the side of the controller. Instead of a label it may be cast into the housing. There also exist 2 types of TC 's, one which is made from 2 different metals co-joined (welded) at a junction, such as chrome/alumel, this is called a beaded junction TC. When the junction is heated it generates a milivolt signal which is sent to the control. This type has wires and/or may plug in. The other type is gas filled and the heated air causes the gas to expand which opens a bellows in the control. This type usually screws in. Try to get more label info and get back. Tom
