  • We would like to add that we appreciate all of you that came to the 2011 Michigan Rally. This rally and our intent was to provide each of you with an opportunity to really get out, see the sights, to have fun, make at least one new friend and to enjoy your stay at a good RV Park. Hopefully each of you or most of you did all of the above; if most of you did, then we can say that we succeeded. Thanks to all of you, it was great to see some old friends and of course we met and made some new friends. You are the ones that made this Rally succeed, you are the ones who will make every Rally a success. We couldn't have done it without each of you. Al & Sandy Decker

**** The New Rate is now $41.65 for either on the lake or off the lake. ~~~~
The lake sites will go fast as there are only 6 used for 5th wheel trailers, so consider making your reservations early. It will be first come first served on those 6 sites. The lake view is nice from your picture window. I myself have chosen to be on the hill so that I can be closer to the registration area, the hall and the fire pit. If you choose the Lake you will be a little farther away from the registration and hall area but well within comfortable walking distance or you can drive up to the hall and park your vehicle nearby. I suggest that you go to the WildCherryResort web site, check out their park map, pick the site of your choice, then make your reservations.
the lake sites are now filled.
WILD CHERRY RESORT IS ALL BOOKED UP EVEN THE CLASS A SITES ARE BOOKED. THERE IS A WAITING LIST AND AT THE PRESENT ONLY ONE PERSON/COUPLE IS WAITING

My question is; "Who are you?" Have you replaced the Michigan Chapter Leaders? For anyone who has not been to the Leelanau Peninsula, it is indeed scenic...once you get to it. Driving through Traverse City and the southern end of the peninsula can be a frustratingly long adventure during the summer, even without a big rig behind you. BTDT.

I have replaced no one. In fact I am working with both even today. I offered to do this because I wanted to help out.

In the past 2 years I have taken my unit through Traverse City to the Wild Cherry Resort, once in May and this year in August. I stayed a week the first year and only 5 days this year because I elected to be apart of the Ludington Rally. At no time did I ever feel overwhelmed by driving into, thru or out of Traverse City.

Anyone who has ever driven around, through or over the Dallas/Ft Worth metroplex are should have zero trouble with traverse city.

Hi Folks

Good luck with that. I have been trying for 5 days now. Phone tag and bad connections.
And the web site has been down since last week.

Peace
Dave

Rich, thank you for your kind words. To all that might not understand Rich's second sentence, Rich has resigned to give us only one chapter leader as co-leaders are no longer allowed. Rich, I've learned so much from you and hope we all have your continuing support.

Rick,

My bud, I too want to thank you publicly for all you have done for the club. You becoming the founding chapter leader for Michigan came early on in the development of the club. I recall fondly the first MI rally in Frankenmuth, and the second rally in St. Ignace and the third rally in Ludington and I'm looking forward to the fourth in Lake Leelanau! Thank you for all you have done and all that you will continue to do to further the club in the great state of Michigan.

Blueberry pancakes for everyone!
